Welcome

Hello! My name is Angelina, and I am thrilled that you’ve chosen to visit my little corner of the web. All of my Kreations are original designs that are born on my Brittany birchwood hooks. They are made with love in a smoke-free household, under the careful watch of my dogs and cats. I do my best to ensure a fur-free project, but some does occasionally slip by.

A large portion of my work is custom, and I am always thrilled to receive a custom order. You may use any of the items you see here or in my Flickr portfolio as inspiration. Once you're ready to proceed, click on "Request Custom Item" in my store to give life to your idea.

Payment

PAYMENT: I take PayPal, Revolution Money Exchange, and Google Checkout. If you select "Other" for payment, your purchase will be invoiced via email and directed to the ProPay payment gateway to submit your payment. I also love good ol' fashioned trading and bartering, but you'll need to contact me to do that. Sorry, but I don't take checks or money orders.
I require a 50% non-refundable deposit for all custom orders, regardless of complexity.
Please note that immediate payment is necessary; I will not ship items until payment actually clears.

SALES TAX: Colorado residents, please note that your sale will have state sales tax (2.9%) added to your order.

Shipping

WHEN I SHIP: For ready-made items, I'll get your purchase packaged and in the post within 48 hours.
For made-after-purchase designs, I'll contact you for specifications, and once I receive them, I'll begin work on your order. Your item will be done and in the post within 7 business days.
For completely custom orders, here's an estimated timeframe for the most common factors:
* Mutual selection of fibers, colors, and design: 2-5 days
* Ordering materials through mail-order supplier: 4-7 days
* Hand-crocheting, seaming, blocking, and finishing your item: 2-14 days
The average turnaround time for a custom order is two weeks, but this may vary depending on my workload. If you absolutely must have your item at the top of my work list, you may purchase a "rush order" from my shop.

WHAT I SHIP IN: I do my best to use all reused or recycled packaging: bubble mailers, tyveks, boxes, tissue paper, envelopes, paper, and zip-top bags. I ensure these items are clean and in good working order before reusing them. Reusing and recycling helps me keep costs down and keeps the Earth in good shape for my baby girl.

HOW I CALCULATE SHIPPING: All of my shipping is based on the First Class Package rate to your country and includes the cost of time and materials (shape-formed or fragile items have an additional surcharge added for handling). Upgraded shipping options are available for purchase in my shop; please purchase these if you need your order rushed. If there are any gross differences in actual and quoted shipping costs, I am happy to refund the difference.

SPECIAL SHIPPING NOTICE TO PAYPAL USERS: If you pay via PayPal, and the address provided at checkout does not match your PayPal address, and you don't let me know why (e.g. it's gift, you moved and forgot to update PayPal), I will contact you to see which address is correct. If I do not hear from you within 72 hours, I will ship to the PayPal Verified address.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I am happy to ship internationally. My international shipping method is USPS First Class International Package. There are variable timelines for this service, although the average has been about 7-14 days. Your country's customs may add some time to this estimate. I accurately declare the value and content of every package I send. Customs fees are your responsibility; I will not refund any customs fees that are assessed.

Refunds and Exchanges

RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Nothing is more important to me than your satisfaction. If for some reason, you are unhappy with the item you purchased, please email me so we can work out an exchange or return. I accept returns on every item I create, with the exception of custom work and patterns.

Additional Policies and FAQs

TRIFs (aka TRADES & BARTERS): I love to trade, and will trade nearly any item in my store - even custom requests. Items marked with a "trif" tag are fair game for trades. I do *all* TRIFs through Etsy, not offline, because I firmly believe that not doing so is fee and feedback avoidance, and just plain bad karma. I will cover shipping for my end of the TRIF.

PIFs: Every seller treats PIFs a little differently, so I though it necessary to post how I do mine. The spirit of a PIF is to "Pay it Forward", and if you purchase a PIF from me, I hope that you will do just that. Also, please limit yourself to one non-reserved PIF; the object is to spread the love around. Non-reserved PIF buyers are still responsible for the costs of shipping, so please remember to check-out at the end of the transaction. I *will not* ship your PIF until shipping is paid. There is some great information on PIFs on Etsy, and I suggest you do a search in the forums for more information.

RAINN CONTRIBUTIONS: 100% of the net proceeds of my "RAINN-y Day" line of kreations and 10% of the sale price of all other items benefit RAINN.
