Welcome

I am strongly committed to earth-friendly practices. Therefore:
** 15% (or more) of proceeds will go towards purchasing renewable energy blocks (see sterlingplanet.com) and carbon credits (carbonfund.org) so that Cascade Lemonade is 'carbon negative' and energy conscious
** 'recycled new' materials will be used, when possible - these are ALL NEW donations from family and friends' stashes or to The Legacy (in Sebastopol, CA, which also supports their SR center!) If I ever use thrifted materials, this will be stated in the item description.
** recycled packaging and shipping materials will be used whenever possible (if purchasing a gift, please let me know: I gift wrap for free with new-looking materials)
** 50% of proceeds on drawstring bags sold at the Marine Mammal Center in Petersburg, AK (my in-laws' home) will support marine mammal education, research, and rescue

There are many benefits to buying homemade. I think one of them is knowing that you are supporting environmental practices, fair labor, and good causes!

All items are made by me, by hand, unless otherwise noted. My studio and home are smoke and pet free. Thanks, again, for visiting the shop!

Payment

I accept PayPal, money orders, and checks. All items are shipped after payment has cleared. I process custom requests in the order that I receive payment.

Shipping

All items will be sent within 5 business days (usually sooner). They will arrive attractively wrapped and will be sealed and padded (as appropriate) to protect from water and handling damage. I try to use all recycled packing materials, but feel free to write me a note if you prefer all new materials.

Free gift wrapping and enclosure cards are available, upon request.

Refunds and Exchanges

Satisfaction guarantee and returns:
I only sell and ship items that meet high expectations of my own craftmanship. It is very important to me that you are happy with your purchase. Please contact me immediately (within 2 days) upon receipt of your item if you aren't satisfied with your purchase, and we can discuss a return or exchange depending on the item and situation. Shipping charges are only refunded if I make an error. Custom orders typically can't be returned unless they sell in the shop or there was a mistake on my part. I'm proud of my 100% positive feedback and will do whatever I can do ensure you like what you get!

Additional Policies and FAQs

Custom Orders: Starting September 1st, I will no longer be taking custom orders per se. Instead, I am happy to take *Requests*...meaning, if there is an item you would like me to make, you can request this item, with as many specifics as you like (fabrics, colors, size, etc.). If I decide to make your requested item, I will convo you before the item is posted so that you have first dibs.

I will continue to offer several of my 'design your own' items, which is the closest I'll come to a true custom order.
