Welcome

Orange Box Jewelry is a one woman show. I use a lot of vintage recycled and repurposed pieces, explode them and Frankenstein them into new pieces. It's my goal to make every transaction smooth and hassle free to end up with happy customers.

Payment

Paypal is the only payment I accept. Payment is expected at time of purchase. If other arrangements are needed, please convo me. Taxes are included in the purchase price displayed. Please be sure that your Etsy address matches your Paypal shipping address for fastest shipping, otherwise I will convo you to check which address is correct.

Shipping

For the most part, I only ship to US destinations. I use the U.S. postal service and ship first class mail. I will ship everything during the business day after the purchase has been completed (meaning Paypal has received and cleared your payment). Insurance is optional and must be requested specifically. If you are an international buyer and would like me to ship to you, please convo me and we may be able to reach an agreement.

Refunds and Exchanges

I cannot take responsibility for Postal Service delays or damages to the package. (Shipping insurance is optional and must be requested specifically.) Refunds/exchanges are only offered if there is an error on my part or if an item is defective. If there is a problem with something you received, you must contact me within 3 days of receiving the item for a refund/exchange.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Some items are made from vintage metal components and have not been tested for lead. Due to the California Lead in Jewelry Law (effective March 1, 2008), I can no longer sell these items to California residents without performing destructive testing for lead. Any orders with a California ship-to address will be cancelled and refunded promptly. As I understand it, the spirit of the California law is intended mainly for new new manufactured jewelry, however it does not distinguish between new and old pieces or large companies vs. small businesses. So, if you are a CA resident, I cannot ship any of my work that uses vintage salvaged pieces and will refund your payment promptly. If the order is for an item that contains only new materials, then I will ship tout de suite.
