Ambermayhem is a manifestation of Textile Artist
Amber Coppings' need to create beautiful and unusual textile art-to wear. My obsession with art-to-wear started when I insisted on having a tie-dye birthday party when I turned 12 years old...the tie dye party never really ended for me!

I studied fiber art in college, along with art therapy, and just have not stopped making things. When my best friend moved to Japan 8 years ago, I happened upon some shibori Japanese fabric dyeing techniques in a book my weaving instructor and mentor lent to me (thank you, Lou!!). In exploring shibori, I was able to understand some of the culture my friend had immersed himself in, plus I was able to expand my mind and creativity to see how fabric dyeing is a skill and art form, not just a hippie thing to do. (but i do love hippies!)

My artwork has expanded to include fiber art installation, translating metals into textiles using knit and other textile construction methods.

Payment

Ambermayhem prefers Paypal as payment for purchases. Payment is due with in 24 hours of purchase. Ambermayhem reserves the right to cancel a sale and re-list after 24 hours of non-payment.

If you request a Reserved listing be listed for you, please buy within 24 hours.

Shipping

Shipping Policy:

First Class or Priority Mail (both domestic and international) are the shipping methods I use. If you would like something else, let me know before purchase and I will adjust the shipping costs as needed.

Delivery confirmation is included with all domestic shipments.

I ship 2-3 times a week. I will let you know after your purchase when your order will ship.

Recycled packaging will be used if possible. I do not include a packing slip as an environmental issue. If you prefer to have one, or a gift receipt, please let me know.

Refunds and Exchanges

Exchange Policy: Ambermayhem will be happy to exchange any unworn, unwashed, undamaged items for another item of equal value for 1 week after shipping.

The customer is responsible for any return shipping on exchanges. Returns must have receipt confirmation and insurance, if this was provided in the original shipment. Buyer is responsible for shipping any new items, or difference in cost.
