Thank you for visiting Alexandra Amaro designs.

Originally from New Mexico, with much time spent in Brazil as a teenager, I moved to Mozambique in 2005 to work as a business development consultant doing fundraising for agricultural projects. After nearly 5 years in Africa, I've now relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and plan to start art school in Spring 2010 to study jewelry design and metalsmithing.

My jewelry designs reflect the places that have strongly influenced my life thus far: New Mexico (turquoise, silver, Southwestern motifs), Brazil (gemstones galore, contemporary aesthetic), and Mozambique (antique trade beads, organic materials, ethnic style). I have a passion for fusion designs that combine styles and materials from distant corners of the globe to create something truly unique.

Payment

I accept credit cards via PayPal. Payment must be completed within 3 days of purchase. Items will only be shipped after receipt of payment.

Shipping

Shipping within the US is done via USPS Priority Mail and includes insurance. If you would like a different shipping method, please contact me before placing your order.

International shipping is via USPS International Priority Mail and does NOT include insurance. If you would like a different shipping method or want to include insurance, please let me know prior to your purchase. Please note that you are responsible for ALL potential customs/duty on your jewelry - it is wise to inform yourself of customs policies before making an international purchase. Regrettably, Alexandra Amaro cannot be responsible for international shipments that don't arrive (or that arrive with contents missing) in locations where the mail service is not reliable. Please only ship to safe, reliable addresses.

All items are carefully packaged in a gift box and come with an Alexandra Amaro logo tag that explains the materials used in each design.

Domestic orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail and include delivery confirmation and insurance.

International orders are sent via USPS Global Priority and include insurance. Buyer is responsible for any potential customs fees.

If you would prefer a different shipping method or have any other specific requests that may change the final price of your order, please convo me with the details. In these cases, please hold off payment until I send you a modified PayPal invoice to reflect your updated total.

Shipping discounts are offered when you purchase multiple items, so please check out what else I have in shop.

Refunds and Exchanges

Returns must be done within 30 days of purchase, and items must be in their original condition. Should you need to return your jewelry for any reason, please let me know in writing (via email or Convo) so we can find a solution. In the case of a return, buyer must cover all shipping costs.
