Shipping
If you purchase a pattern, please make sure you're allowed to receive mail from info[at]sewbettie.com. We don't want your Sew Bettie pattern to end up in your junk/spam folder.
Patterns and tutorials are sent via email 1-2 business days after payment is received. All kits are shipped 3-5 business days after payment is received. Fabric is made to order and will ship approximately 3 weeks after payment. We use USPS. Please note that we always ship to your PayPal address if there is a discrepancy between your Etsy address and your PayPal address. If you want your package to be sent to an address other than your PayPal address, please let us know in the message to seller section at checkout.

Additional Policies and FAQs
All Sew Bettie patterns & tutorials are copyrighted. They are for personal use only. You may not sell or distribute our patterns & tutorials. Items made using our patterns & tutorials may not be sold without an explicit written licensing agreement from Sew Bettie. The only exception is our button ring tutorial - button rings made using the techniques described by Sew Bettie may be sold because we, of course, didn't invent button rings.
FABRIC FAQs
How is Sew Bettie fabric sold and cut?
Sew Bettie fabric is usually sold as fat quarters (unless the product description says otherwise). Our fat quarters are about 18" by 21".
If you order 2 fat quarters, they will be cut about 42" wide and 18" long.
If you want a traditional yard of fabric (36" X 42"), order 4 fat quarters. We will print your fabric as a continuous piece of fabric up to 3 yards (12 fat quarters). If you order, for example, 5 yards (20 fat quarters), it will come as a 3 yard piece and a 2 yard piece.
Why do you sell limited edition fabric?
Aren't you sick of seeing the same fabric everywhere? Taking the time to invent a new design, only to see your fabric choice all over the indie craft scene? Limited edition fabric makes your handmade creations even more unique. Our fabric is art all by itself. Staple Sew Bettie fabric onto stretcher bars for quick, no sew wall art.
What does it mean when you say that Sew Bettie fabric is limited edition?
All of the Sew Bettie fabric is limited edition except for our signature "Bettie" fabric. The usual edition size is 100 yards and is specified in the product description. This means that we promise to only sell 100 yards of the design.
Are there any exceptions to the size of the edition?
We will never sell more than the edition number listed in the product description. However, we reserve the right to print more for our own personal use. Cara can't possibly deny her lovely mom a pillow of her favorite Sew Bettie design.
I wanted a fabric that is sold out. Will you print it for me?
Nope. Sorry, we mean it when we promise to only sell a specific number of yards of a design! We're constantly creating new designs, so check back often and you'll be sure to find something you love just as much.
How long will it take for my fabric to ship?
We use print-on-demand technology. This means that we print the fabric as you order it. It will take about 3 weeks for your order to ship. Often, fabric is in stock and will ship much faster than that - convo us if you're in a hurry.
What is your printing process?
Mark designs the fabric (with a little editorial comment from Cara) in our Chicago studio. Sew Bettie fabric is printed digitally. Using a professional printer in North Carolina, we print on 100% cotton. The fabric is quilting weight. It is 44" wide, although the print is only 42" wide (meaning there is an inch of white fabric on either side).
Can I sell items I make using Sew Bettie fabric?
Yes! We'd love to see pictures of your items too so send us an email at info [!at] sewbettie.com. We'd also really appreciate it if you mentioned Sew Bettie in any product description of items that are for sale.
