I like the way clay feels in my hand. I like making a piece and then standing back and recognizing that I accomplished something, something almost perfect. There’s no better feeling than throwing a terrific set of three or four mugs, scraping them off the bat and then looking out at my back yard from the little haven of my dirt floor studio taking a sip of coffee with milk and two tablespoons of caramel flavor from the mug I made last year.

Using mid-fire stoneware or porcelain, my ceramic pieces are either wheel thrown or hand assembled. When I’m not in the studio I’ve always got my eye open for objects that might make an interesting impression on one of my pieces. When I’m not using stamps I make linear designs free hand--flowers, butterflies and such. When making my glazes, I choose translucent earth tone colors and oxides, so that the surface texture and details of each piece are still apparent.

My functional pieces are food safe, microwaveable, and suitable for use in the dishwasher unless otherwise noted.

Payment

I accept payments using Paypal.

Please be sure that your PayPal and Etsy "ship to" addresses match. If not, be sure to write a note at check out with the correct "ship to" address.

Payments must be received within three days of purchase.

If payment has not been received within three days, I will send notification. If no reply is made within a week, the order will be canceled.

If you need to cancel an order, please notify me immediately! I usually ship the day after an order is placed. So, there is time to let me know, and avoid shipping a canceled purchase. Once the item is shipped, it must be returned in it's original condition, before a refund is given, less shipping fees.

I will refund, using Paypal, canceled orders that have been paid, less any Paypal transaction fees.

Shipping

Using recycled boxes when possible, all items are carefully packaged using bubble wrap, biodegradable corn starch peanuts, re-used peanuts, and/or newspaper. When necessary, items are double boxed.

Once payment is received, orders will ship in 1-2 days, excluding postal holidays and Sundays.

All orders are shipped U.S.P.S. Parcel Post, insured, with delivery confirmation. Your package will arrive within 3-10 days. Once shipped, I will contact you with an estimated date of arrival.

If you desire faster shipping using U.S.P.S., please contact me for a quote, prior to your purchase.

If actual shipping costs are less than estimated costs, I will refund any difference over $2.00.


***I can only estimate shipping costs. Shipping varies for each zone and depends on the weight of a package. You can contact me prior to your purchase for an accurate shipping quote.

Refunds and Exchanges

Above all else, I want you to be happy with your purchase!

If an item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately. I will be happy to send a replacement, if one is available. Otherwise, I will refund the price of the item.

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please notify me within 3 days of receiving it for instructions. I will accept returns, and will refund the price of the item, less shipping fees, once it is received in it's original condition. Please ship using U.S.P.S.

Customer's are responsible for the shipping costs of returning an item. To safe guard your return, please purchase insurance and delivery confirmation and re-use the original packaging.

Your purchase must be returned within 10 days, in order to receive a refund.
