Thanks for visiting SpaceHappy, home of the original TransFan geek jewelry maker! You can also usually find at least a few Browncoat pieces, along with plenty of non-fannish adornments for all.

I love making custom jewelry for you! If you've got an idea, I'd be happy to work with you to make something special. Please send me a regular convo instead of using the Alchemy system; I've recently found out that there's a bit too much rigamarole with Alchemy. ;)

I do require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit on all custom work. Since this will vary depending on what you want, I'll figure the payment needed for me to get started after we've worked out the details of your jewelry.

Payment

Currently I'm only accepting PayPal; it's fast, easy, and secure. It also gets your payment to me instantly, which means your jewelry will be on its way to you sooner!

Note that you DO NOT have to have a PayPal account to make a credit card payment; just select "PayPal" for your payment option and on the right hand side of the next screen you will have the option to select to pay without creating an account.

Shipping

I ship USPS Priority Mail (with Delivery Confirmation within the U.S.A.). Within the United States, that's 3-5 business days; outside the US 6-10 business days. Please keep inmind that shipping times are usually longer during the holiday season, and plan accordingly.

Please keep in mind that my Etsy shop is (for now) not how I make my living; I have a full-time job and therefore am not always able to get to the Post Office immediately. Rest assured, though, that I will ship your order ASAP.

Refunds and Exchanges

I want you to be pleased with your jewelry; if for any reason you're not, please contact me (via Etsy convo or emailing tmg1138 (at) gmail.com) and I'd be happy to work out a solution with you.

If your jewelry should become damaged during the course of normal wear, send it back to me and I will repair it and send it back at no charge.

The exception to this is if an expensive part such as a sterling-silver charm is lost, I do reserve the right to charge you for the replacement cost of the part.

Please read the section below for info on jewelry care and what is NOT considered normal wear.

I DO NOT accept returns on custom jewelry; however, my repair policy is the same as on my ready-made pieces.

Please note that I WILL NOT accept returns if a piece is simply too long or too short. The length of each piece is clearly stated in its description and many of them can even be adjusted. It is the buyer's responsibility to grab a tape measure and make sure the piece will fit before purchasing. If you need the jewelry adjusted, simply note your preferred length the Notes to Seller and I'll make it so!

Additional Policies and FAQs

One additional policy that doesn't fit anywhere else:

Regarding the Transformers-inspired pieces, I am not able to send any Jazz and Prowl pieces, or any Hound and Mirage pieces, to the same new owner. Those of you who don't know what I'm talking about... you probably don't want to. ;) Those of you who *do* know - I ask that you please respect my art and the fact that I don't wish for it to be associated in any way with either of these pairs. I appreciate your understanding.


Caring For Your Jewelry

All of my creations are constructed as sturdily as possible; however, please keep in mind that NO jewelry is meant for rough handling.

Jewelry should be removed before sleeping, showering, swimming (or otherwise getting in the water), or any other strenuous, sweat- or dirt-inducing activity such as playing sports, working out, or tinkering with the car. Do not pull, tug, yank, force, or crush your jewelry, or allow others (such as small children) to do so.

Perfumes, lotions, hair spray and so forth should be allowed to dry before putting on jewelry; remove jewelry before using any chemicals such as household cleaners.

Before storing, wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth to remove sweat and skin oils; silver and silver plate WILL tarnish and benefit from an occasional polishing with a treated cloth (you can find these in the jewelry section of department stores - I buy mine at Walmart). I DO NOT recommend the use of those sonic cleaners; they are very harsh and can actually damage your jewelry.

Finally, (even though there’s a lot of Transformers stuff going on), none of SpaceHappy’s creations are intended for children under 12.
