i'm a metalsmith living in chicago. i earned my bfa in metals from the university of washington.

The inspiration for this body of work originally came from honeycombs. I find it quite amazing that little insects, specifically bees, can meticulously create such perfect and beautiful forms. The precise geometry eventually became too confining and I started making my own designs based on the honeycomb. I’ve since branched off even further to make work derived from various botanical structures as they would be seen under a microscope and sometimes just creating structures that i find appealing. I often find myself making multiple components based on the same idea and I enjoy their repetitive patterns and textures of the different combinations. I individually hand make each part of each piece of my jewelry and am constantly considering and refining their designs.

Payment

currently i am only accepting orders through paypal. but you don't have to have a paypal account to use paypal. if you need help with paypal, please send me a convo.

if i don't receive payment in three days, i will cancel the sale.

i am not responsible for any duties or custom fees.

Shipping

shipping info.
some work is made to order. please check the listing to see turnaround time. otherwise, i ship domestic orders 3-5 days of payment clearing. please note! i do not ship on saturday or sunday. so, if you order on friday, i may not ship until monday. (sorry. i've got a silly day job that gets in the way. ) i only ship international orders once a week.

* for u.s. orders, i am shipping usps 1st class or priority mail with delivery confirmation. insurance is included for purchases over $100-.

*for international orders, the price quoted is for 1st class without insurance. if you'd like insurance or priority mail, please send me a convo for a quote. i am not responsible for any duties or custom fees. although so far *knock on wood* shipping times for overseas orders have not been more than 2 weeks, it can take up to six weeks in some countries. please always feel free to get in touch with any questions you have about shipping.

Refunds and Exchanges

i want you to be happy with your jewelry. i accept returns up to 2 weeks from when you receive it. please email or convo me before you ship it back. and pretty please ship it back to me with some sort of tracking. i am not responsible for returns lost by the usps. and i can't refund shipping costs. as soon as i receive the order back in resellable condition, i will refund the money through paypal.

Additional Policies and FAQs

*all jewelry comes wrapped in anti tarnish tissue paper and in a gift box.

all jewelry is made in a smoke free home. but i do have two cats. they are allowed in the studio, with supervision, of course, because otherwise i'd never see them. please keep that in mind if ordering.

i am currently not taking custom orders and wholesale inquiries. if you'd like to be notified when i am, please send me a convo.
