My sterling silver chain, clasps ear wires, metal sheet and casting grain I use are from ethical sources and Made in the USA.

METALS: The recycled ALUMINUM that I use is thick it is not like an aluminum soda can which is what a lot of people are use to, so it is NOT bendable or crushable under normal wearing conditions. It is more like what you see in buildings say around window/door frames etc. so it is durable.
My Recycled aluminum/ other recycled metals vary in thickness due to what is available at the time I visit the recycling center( However,I do not use any that is as thin as a soda can!) They usually range between 16 gauge -20 gauge. My sterling silver sheet is 20-22 gauge.

Please note that due to the fact that these are handmade items, they can vary slightly from the original image.

Please let me know if your order is a gift, I can send you a card for the occasion: birthday etc. and put piece in a 100% recycled paper gift box with a ribbon bow!

PAPER: I use 100% Post Consumer Recycled Office Paper for my papers and printouts that are included with your order.

Payment

I accept payment through Paypal, echeck through paypal. I also now accept Google Checkout as a Paypal alternative (if you are interested just let me know and I can send you an invoice)

NOTE: Texas residents will be charged 8.25% sales tax at checkout through Paypal

Please pay or make arrangements via convo to pay within 3 days of when you place your Etsy order. If I do not hear from you I will cancel your order. If you have made a mistake and did not intend to place the order it can be canceled through Etsy.

RESERVED ORDERS-
I allow a total of 5 days for payment or convos about Reserved orders. If a Reserved order is not paid or if I have not heard from you at all during this time and have only heard from you when you placed your initial order your item will be removed from Etsy. I reserve the right to not relist the item.

Shipping

Please allow 5-7 days before shipping, unless stated otherwise on listing as most designs are made to order. My standard shipping is USPS Priority with delivery confirmation unless stated otherwise on listing. If you would like your order shipped by overnight or express mail for an added charge please let me know! Note: USPS Priority shipping is 2-4 days estimated time of arrival during normal business days. USPS may take longer with Priority items during Holidays such as Christmas,Valentines etc. or other busy times of year.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PAYPAL ADDRESS IS CORRECT! I ship orders through Paypal and it speeds the process up (and makes it more secure), if your Etsy and Paypal address match. However, If your Etsy and Paypal accounts do not match, your item will be shipped by default to the address that is listed on your Etsy transaction and receipt.

I ship jewelry items ship through USPS priority with delivery confirmation or tracking #. If I receive delivery confirmation to an address that is listed as your address on paypal and etsy (preferably they match). Then I consider the item delivered and reserve the right to not refund or reship new merchandise. If you would like insurance, please request it, I can also ship USPS overnight for an added charge. Orders processed through Paypal by ECHECK will take 3-5 business days to clear so it will take a little longer to reach you.

Note: Although it does not happen often occasionally USPS does lose or misplace an item this is completely out of my control! if you have not received an item when you believe it to be due and this is also confirmed via your tracking #, PLEASE contact me FIRST before leaving neutral or negative feedback, as I will be more than happy to ship another one, give refunds, etc.

Refunds and Exchanges

RETURNS:
ALL MY WORK IS GUARANTEED! I allow 7 days from the time you receive your package to return the item. I can either replace the piece with another one or give a full refund! Convo me first to decide which you want to do! Note: On one of a kind items you can only get a refund.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS AND REPAIRS

When you order a piece of jewelry I enclose a list of Care instructions PLEASE READ these. I make different sheets that are specific to the jewelry that you purchased. Since I use some different, non traditional materials it is best to read the directions before wearing.

STERLING SILVER AND COPPER WILL TARNISH even the argentium silver will tarnish over time, unlike silver plate items or costume pieces which once the plating is knocked off with wear Both Sterling and Copper can be cleaned and polished back shiny again! Below are some tips on preventative care,cleaning and polishing.

PREVENTATIVE CARE ON COPPER CHARMS AND STERLING CHAINS,PENDANTS,RINGS, ETC. - Put items back in plastic baggie that is enclosed with each order when not wearing, as exposure to oxygen causes tarnishing. Also clean gently with a jewelry polishing cloth DO NOT USE HARSH LIQUID CLEANERS or wear while swimming or in the hot tub as chlorine can damage sterling silver.

Note: Satin finish sterling , copper and aluminum items are best touched up with a fine grit sandpaper which you can find at your local hardware store. Cut a small 1" x 1" square from large sheet and then just gently rub in one direction so the the surface has an even finish.

If you are sensitive to copper and sterling silver( sterling is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper hence the stamping 925) coming into contact with your skin you can put a thin layer of clear nail polish over the surface to act as a barrier, this will also reduce tarnishing. Works well on the inside sterling silver rings or charms ( A lot of health food shops now offer non toxic/vegan nail polishes that work great for this!)

Also if you wear perfumes or hairsprays let them fully dry before you put on your jewelry this will cause less tarnishing and chemical reactions to the metal than if they are sprayed directly onto the surface. Satin finish items are more prone to react.

ALUMINUM IS VERY TARNISH RESISTANT but once again do not use harsh chemicals to clean. Aluminum can be cleaned with just plain water (no soap) just gently pat dry with a soft clean cloth. You can also resurface with fine grit sandpaper as described above.
