Welcome

I specialize in fiber of all kind: paper making, dying, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and spinning.

All items are of my own design. They come from a pet-friendly home that is kept reasonably clean, and is a non-smoking environment.

When I choose dyes, I always ask myself: "If the cat stuck his nose in this, would I have to take him to the vet afterwards?" If the answer is "probably" then I try not to use it. For this reason, all of my silks are dyed with koolaide, because I can dispose of it safely, it is inexpensive, and it is very light fast and lasting if treated properly, plus it leaves behind a lovely scent through the first or second washing.

I also use fiber reactive dyes on the rare occasion I dye cellulose (plant) fibers. These are slightly less harmful than acid or other chemical dyes, and are cheaper which keeps the price of the end product down.

Payment

I accept payment only through paypal.

Shipping

I ship mostly through the USPS, since they are the closest and best priced shipping option that I have. I ship everything with delivery confirmation.

If you are outside the US and would like to order from my shop, please message me so we can discuss shipping. I am not opposed to shipping to other countries, especially Canada.

I ship within one week of receipt of order; I'm afraid I can't be more specific than that because I work five days a week on a "flexible schedule" i.e., I don't know what my hours will be from week to week. I might get it out on a Tuesday, it might not go out until Friday night, but it will be within seven days of your order being placed.

Refunds and Exchanges

I ship all items with delivery confirmation. If the item does not arrive, please message me and I will provide you with a refund.

Additional Policies and FAQs

I am willing to do custom orders for knitted items, but I do not do sweaters, simply for reasons of sizing. I will do custom bags, scarves, or hats, or other smaller items. Please also be aware that I do not work with wool since I'm allergic to it. I will also consider requests for jewelry, or other items similar to those that are already in stock.
