Welcome

I am all about fabulous, original, geeky, and functional (or beautiful, that's a function!) objects made of yarn. I love handcrafting these little creatures and sending them out into the world.

Payment

I accept PayPal only. I will deliver patterns within 24 hours upon receipt of official payment notification from PayPal, and I will ship physical items within 4 days of PayPal payment notification.

Shipping

I insure all packages against loss or damage (although what the postal service would be able to do to some of these softies, I shudder to imagine, as they're not smashable or really fragile in any way that wouldn't be horrifying) and ship standard USPS first class, which is 3-5 days for the United States. Foreign country shipping has limited availability, convo me with questions about overseas purchases.

Refunds and Exchanges

As I insure all of my packages, should something get lost in the mail or arrive in a damaged condition please let me know and I will give you the insurance information so that you can file a claim to recuperate the cost of the item. I insure all packages in the amount of the cost of the item plus the shipping cost, so that in the unfortunate event of post office fail, you will be fully reimbursed. I do not personally process insurance claims, that is left as your responsibility should you decide to do so.

Additional Policies and FAQs

--COMMISSIONS, PROJECT QUEUE, AND RUSH ORDERS--
I am happy to accept customized commission orders, and if there is something that you have in mind that you would like me to design and create, please contact me and let's put it together.

Whenever I receive a commission from a customer, it is added at the end of my current project queue. I process my project queue in order and as quickly as I am comfortably able. Usually I do not have more than one or two projects in my queue at a time, and so the timeframe between ordering and shipment is between one and two weeks.

If you require a piece more quickly, we can discuss the possibility of a rush order. Depending on the number of people I am currently commissioned to create pieces for, I may be able to expedite your piece for a rush order fee. My standard rush order fee is 20% of the item cost (this puts the item at the top of my current queue and guarantees a one-week production time), but depending on your timeframe needs, the complexity and originality of the piece, and the number of projects already in my queue, I will evaluate on a case-by-case basis and negotiate the percentage with you.

--COPYRIGHT INFORMATION--
All of my patterns are protected under a Creative Commons license that prohibits resale of the pattern or any item made from it, and does not allow attributive works to be created from them. You are more than welcome to make as many items from the pattern as you wish and give them to friends and family, but please do not profit from my patterns -- I also sell the finished products on my site and I am offering the patterns as a fun way to share the joy of making these with others. Any and all possible infringement of my rights as creator of these works will be pursued.
