I work on stretched canvas with acrylic paints. The portrait is sold unframed and intended to be hung that way, but you can of course, frame it if you wish.

Custom portraits take about three weeks, but can take more or less time to complete depending on the time of year and demand. At time of order, I can give you a more accurate estimate of current completion times.

Email or mail me 3-5 photos along with a description of your dog's personality. Don’t worry about the background of your photos. If you like the style of a specific painting on my site, or if you have requests for a specific background color please let me know. I compose the painting based on the photo(s) you send. I can show you the rough image or the background color(s) I selected for approval before I start drawing and painting, if requested. Please note that all monitors show color differently so the color will not be exact. I draw the approved design on the canvas and paint away. My paintings are all hand drawn and painted by me.

A deposit of 50% is due when you send in your photos. Upon completion, I will send you a digital photo of your portrait. The balance will be due before I ship the completed painting. I accept paypal only at this time.

Payment

Here are prices (good on portraits booked thru May 2008) for some of the sizes I have been working on. If you are interested in a different sized canvas or would like two or more dogs in a portrait let me know and I can give you a price.

Shipping

Shipping charges are additional. On custom pieces I normally ship UPS but can also send via FEDEX. You can expect $7 - $40 depending on size of the canvas. I ship with insurance and will send you the tracking number. I make every effort to ship stock items with in 48 hours of purchase. I list shipping prices to the US, please contact me for international shipping prices.

Refunds and Exchanges

All items are non-refundable and non-returnable. Deposits on custom pieces is non-refundable even if final payment is not made.
