Please read my PAYMENT, SHIPPING, REFUND policies below before you buy and contact me if you have any questions.

Payment

Payment is by PayPal, major credit cards accepted. Please pay upon ordering. I ship once payment is confirmed, almost daily.

Japan buyers can transfer through Japan Post, please select "OTHER" as your payment option.

New Zealand buyers please contact me, you never know I may be in your neck of the woods. **I will be in New Zealand from mid-December 2009 - I can bring your Christmas orders with me.

Shipping

Christmas Shipping: Cut off date for guaranteed delivery before Christmas is December 1st, 2009

From December 1st to December 10th I strongly recommend an upgrade to expedited shipping. Contact me for details.

The shop will be closed for Christmas from December 11th to January 5th. I will be travelling overseas.

All items ship from my smoke-free, pet-free home in Osaka, Japan.

The buyer is responsible for shipping costs & handling costs. A flat rate of $7.00 has been set for the first item, add $1.50 for each extra item.

Shipping is by Japan Post Airmail, (non-traceable).

Airmail takes about 7-10 days to most US and worldwide destinations, however this cannot be guaranteed. I make every effort to ship the same day you order (M -F).

Expedited shipping is available at an extra cost. Email for an estimate.

CUSTOMS/DUTY: The BUYER will be responsible for any duties or customs fees imposed by your country. I am required by law to complete a customs declaration accurately when shipping internationally. Please check your country's laws before purchase. Thank you.

Shipping to APO/FPO Addresses

If your shipping address is an APO/FPO address your parcel will be mailed by Air Mail and will cost the same as shipping to any other worldwide location.

Please note that expedited shipping (EMS) parcels can not be delivered to US military bases, therefore we use standard Airmail.

There may be restrictions on types of items that can be delivered to military bases. Before placing your order, please make sure that the items included in the order are not restricted or prohibited.

Refunds and Exchanges

FAULTY GOODS: Full refund or replacement with same or similar product if item is faulty. Shipped at Mee a Bee's expense. Please contact me within fourteen days of receipt of faulty item. The cost of the item and shipping will be refunded.

RETURNS: Return the product in its original condition within 14 days for a refund by PAYPAL, at Mee a Bee's discretion. Sorry, I cannot be responsible for return shipping charges.

EXCHANGES: are welcome under the same policy as returns. Sorry, I cannot be responsible for return shipping charges. I ask that you first contact me to make arrangements to return the item. Upon purchase of a replacement item I will refund the cost your original purchase (less any shipping charges).

Your satisfaction is very important to me so if there is any problem, however large or small, please contact me.

PRODUCT QUALITY & SAFETY

I'm as concerned as you are about the origin and quality of the materials I use. Where possible I buy high quality fabrics and notions that were made in Japan by reputable companies. I believe in full disclosure. I have two small children so I don't want anything toxic in my home either.

All fabrics and threads are certified non-toxic and safe for children. Contact me for more details.

PRIVACY POLICY

Any personal information collected by Mee a Bee will be kept strictly confidential, not shared or used in anyway other than related to your direct inquiries or purchases.

Mee a Bee does not have access to your personal credit details. These are managed by PayPal which is 100% safe. When you make a purchase Mee a Bee is supplied with your email address and physical address as provided by you to PayPal.

Your password is kept secure by Etsy. Mee a Bee does not have access to this information.
