Welcome

Thank you for considering a purchase from The Measuring Tape. Be assured that I conduct my business with integrity and honesty. I will answer all correspondences as promptly as possible and hopefully will never give cause for uncertainty or anxiety towards my customers.

Payment

I accept Paypal only. All payments must be made no later than 3 days (72 hours) from day of purchase. Buyers from Singapore and Malaysia may choose to pay by bank transfer (please note, you are responsible for any bank transfer fees incurred).

Work will not commence until payment and required measurements have been received (I will send you a measurement form within 24 hours of received payment). Corset orders typically take 6-8 weeks before it is ready for shipment.

If you wish to cancel an order before payment has been made, please do so within 2 days of making the order. Cancellations after payment has been made is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Within 48 hours of payment received, refund of 75% of cost of item, 100% of shipping cost.

2. After 48 hours but before 14 days of payment received, refund of 50% of cost of item, 100% of shipping cost.

3. No cancellation or refund will be entertained after 14 days of payment received.

Shipping

Shipping is via Regular Post (Pos Malaysia) and will take 10-12 days to reach you. Combined shipping is given for 2 or more items. If you would like expedited shipping, please let me know before the purchase and I will advise on cost.

I offer free insurance on all purchases.

You are responsible for any custom charges incurred at your port of entry. Please be apprised of the custom regulations of your country.

All parcels will be marked as 'merchandise' as I run a licensed business and would like to keep things above board.

Once your item has been sent, I will email you with a tracking number.

Refunds and Exchanges

As this is an intimate garment, I cannot accept returns. If there is serious damage to or loss of the item during transit, please let me know and I will start the process to claim from the insurance and keep you updated. Only when the claim is successfully made, can you receive a partial or full refund, dependent on the monetary outcome of the claim.

While every care will be taken to ensure secure packaging of the item for postage, The Measuring Tape is NOT responsible for any damages to or loss of the item WHILE IN TRANSIT.

Additional Policies and FAQs

If you want to add to or change something(anything!) from the description of the listing, please convo me first to discuss it...or else I will cancel the sale and you will be refunded according to my cancellation policy (please see above).

I take great pains and effort in building you a quality corset. Please:

1. DO NOT RESELL them commercially without my permission. I welcome wholesale enquiries and provide a discount for bulk orders.

2. DO NOT RETAG with your own label and sell them as such.

3. DO NOT USE pictures of the corsets posted on my shop without due reference to THE MEASURING TAPE and/or modify the pictures in any way to pass them off as your own.

Many of us who sell on ETSY are small home-based businesses. It would be appreciated if you do not exploit that.
