Welcome

Welcome to my love of Stained Glass and Mosaic art.
While other mediums also excite and beg to be used,
working with glass fulfills that need to create in
a way that no other medium can.

I am drawn to nature most often in my work.
Those pieces that speak to me in a photo I have
captured; often become those works I share here.
I choose to create original works based on
images I have taken or those that friends send along
that they know I will find inspiring.

I also enjoy the human form and what I can capture
of it with glass. Silhouette's that tell a
story with a tilt of a head or a curve of a limb.
This series, known as Women in Motion, pop up for
sale here now and then. I am pleased that they are
desired and sell quickly. Each one telling it's own
story for the recipient. As it should be.

Payment

I accept Paypal only at this time.
You Do NOT need a paypal account to
process payment with any credit or debit card.
I maintain a verified business account with PayPal.

Shipping

Shipping depends on a variety of important factors,
The size of the piece, it's substrate (or base surface),
the materials used, destination etc... Each piece is
estimated at the time of listing here. Please note, this
is an estimate based on experience. Actual shipping
charges may vary slightly. In general for smaller
art such as a 10 inch mirror shown here, shipping will be
15.00-20.00. Medium sized pieces 35.00-50.00.
And large pieces on wood substrates 45.00-70.00.

Shipping charges include packaging material,
Insurance and only the actual shipping fee.
I do not inflate my shipping charges with handling fees.


International Shipping:
Please email me for rates.
Rates will be determined by the size and weight of your selected piece.
Email me for a close estimate. I ship with USPS for International
Air Mail Parcel Post. Usually your piece will arrive in 4-10 business days.

Refunds and Exchanges

Returns are not accepted on commissions or sale items.
Commission customers will have the opportunity to watch your
piece being created on line via my Flickr account.
Please communicate your thoughts as the process unfolds.

I provide clear photos of each piece and written specs
on each one as well. Make your choice carefully as return
postage due to mistaken orders will be your responsibility
to provide.

Returns due to damage.
I exceed shipping requirements for all popular carriers
and as such, have never had a damaged item delivered.
Should this happen, please contact me immediately and
we will start a claim on your behalf. All itmes are
shipped with proper insurance coverage.

Local (Chattanooga Tennessee USA area) customers may arrange
pick up at my studio and save all shipping fees.
Call for an appointment to arrange pick up.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Commission Orders:

Commissions, are my speciality.
I enjoy creating something you will treasure
for a lifetime. I require a deposit of 50% of the
estimated total at the time of your order.
Initial sketches and in process photos will be
provided for your approval as the piece progresses.

The time frame for completion of a 16x20 piece is 30 days.
This time frame varies due to the complexity of the piece
and other factors in the creative process.
Please order early for any special occasion.

While my store here on Etsy is new,
I have many years experience in creating and selling art on line.
Your order is important to me. It matters to me that my customers
are happy with the piece they have selected.
Many become return customers and friends through our transactions.
