Welcome

I strongly believe in reducing my impact on the environment and I hope to pass this on to others. All bags are stitched with durability in mind.

It all starts with some sort of inspiration from the world around me. I sketch out designs in a notebook that I always carry around with me. I am constantly thinking about ways to decrease my impact on our earth, which is why I scour thrift stores for fabric as much as possible.

Most of my bags are in limited numbers because I use pieces I find here and there and rarely buy anything in large quantities.

The fabric I use is reclaimed, recycled, reused, repurposed, and of course new. I make note in each item description what was used in that particular bag. I hope my customers see the importance of reusing and stop using so many disposable products. I am a proud member of the Eco Etsy Street Team: my labels are made from recycled plastic bottles, all my packaging and promo materials are upcycled, and most of my fabric has had a former life.

Custom orders are always welcome and encouraged. Past customers have described ideas of what they want in a bag and have been happy with the final product.

Payment

Prompt payment is greatly appreciated. I price my products reasonably but if you see something that is not priced fairly just let me know and I will be glad to give a better description of the product.

CREDIT CARD CUSTOMERS - You do not need a Paypal account to pay for your order through Paypal. Click the payment button and it will give you the option to pay with credit card without signing up for a Paypal account.

CHECKS - I will accept personal checks but I will not ship your order until after payment clears.

Shipping

I ship everything Priority within the U.S. Your bag will be shipped shortly after payment is received.

I can easily adjust shipping costs when two or more items are purchased.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be aware that it is very costly to ship outside of North America. You will be responsible for all extra shipping costs. Packages sent abroad are not tracked by the USPS therefore I cannot be held responsible for lost packages. As soon as I find more reliable shipping I will announce it here. Free shipping specials apply only to shipping within the United States.

Refunds and Exchanges

All sales are final, thank you for understanding.

Additional Policies and FAQs

I do lots of custom order (which don't end up here on Etsy). Please let me know if you have a bag in mind with your custom features. Custom orders may take up to a month from start (acquire materials) to finish (arriving on your doorstep). I can always send you pictures after it is made and before payment/shipping to see if you love it.

Every purchase comes with something special extra and all cutely wrapped up in recycled shipping paper and with a gift card!

No two items are exactly the same.

Items without vintage/reclaimed fabrics are machine washable (cold water, delicate cycle, hang to dry). Those made with vintage/reclaimed fabrics should be hand washed and hung to dry.
