Welcome

The wood used in Second Line Frames comes from homes all over New Orleans, many of which were over 100 years old. To protect ourselves and our customers from the possible presence of lead-based paints, we take extra precautions to ensure the safety of our frames.

NANSULATE® LDX
We use a revolutionary lead-based paint encapsulation coating to prevent the breakdown of lead paint and the potential release of lead dust. Nansulate® LDX is an innovative, industrial-grade sealant – an environmentally friendly, water-based clear coat that maintains the appearance of the underlying aesthetic while offering a 20 year warranty on its protection. Nansulate® LDX has earned ASTM G21 and 5590 certifications, and has been used as a reliable, effective solution in commercial renovations, schools and by the United States Navy.

PROCESS
Every piece of wood we use is thoroughly washed and scrubbed down with a coarse brush and bleaching solution on all sides. It dries completely in the sun, and is coated with a layer of Nansulate® LDX both before and after it is cut into a frame.

We accept payment via Paypal, Revolution Money Exchange, check, or money order.

Shipping

TIMEFRAME
Items ship within two to three business days, so that we can find a box that best fits your frame. Your purchase will be shipped via FedEx Ground. Shipping includes insurance, and a tracking number is always available. Please let us know if you need your order in a hurry.

SHIPPING ADDRESS
Your purchase will be shipped to the address on your Etsy transaction receipt. If you'd like it shipped to a different address or have any special requests, just convo us.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Although your country may not be listed in our shipping options, we are still more than happy to ship to you! Let us know where you are, and we'll send you a shipping quote.

Refunds and Exchanges

It's important to us that you're happy with your frame. If you'd like to return or exchange it, simply notify us within 7 days of receiving it. Please note you are responsible for return shipping costs.

Additional Policies and FAQs

CUSTOM ORDERS
We do accept custom requests for frames based on your color preferences and measurement specifications. We will do our best to create it for you, but please understand that our inventory of wood varies greatly and no two pieces are identical. There is a limited supply of most colors, but we are always happy to check and see if our current supply can meet your request. :)

Photos of your custom frame are always emailed to you for approval before a reserved listing is created.
