Hello! Artisan Acre is a one woman show with cameo appearances by her husband. I specialize in unique hand-dyes & hand-paints of spinning fibers & yarns. I love both natural dyeing and solar dyeing with professional fiber dyes. Despite being in fiber arts for nearly 25 years, I am getting serious and establishing Artisan Acre as a full-time business. This business is designed to keep fiber arts alive and passionate, to promote the value of local agriculture, natural products and to let people know that handmade and handcrafted items are wonderful & to be valued.
Payment
Paypal, money orders & personal checks are accepted. We also accept credit cards, Mastercard, Visa, Discover. If you would like to use a credit card, just email me with your phone number and time to call so I can contact you personally for the number, expiration date & security number. Allow up to 10 working days for checks & money orders to clear. Payments must be made within a week (7 days) of closing of listing. Sales tax will be charged for all California purchases @ 8.75%. We reserve the right to cancel any of our listings at anytime.
Shipping
Shipping is done within 48 hours (2 working days) after cleared payment, unless a different time frame is noted on an individual listing. We usually ship first class or priority mail with deliver confirmation. International shipping is done through global priority mail or first class international with ALL customs forms (no shady dealings please). If you want insurance, that is an extra charge-just ask for it. Sorry, we cannot accommidate rush orders at this time.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns are accepted for a full purchase refund, but purchaser is responsible for insurance, delivery confirmation & shipping charges for initial purchase AND purchaser is responsible for shipping it back to us with insurance, delivery confirmation & shipping charges paid. Any damaged shipments must be filed through USPS by purchaser/receiver. If a shiment is lost, let me know and I will initiate tracking. Loss &/or damaged shipments will take a minimum of 30 days to complete before replacement or refund is issued.

Please contact me for any inquiry. I usually respond within 24 hours-unless at a fiber show! Then it might be a bit longer. If you would like any yarn purchase wound into a ball, please tell me right away. Of course, that service is free!
