mshalston's Shop Policies

Welcome

I'm a writer/performer residing in Boston.

My work runs the gamut from prose to verse to scripts to sequential art.

Payment

Paypal is the preferred method of payment. If you would like to pay using another method, please let me know. I'm sure we can arrange something that will make you happy.

If five days elapse and payment has not yet been sent, your order will be cancelled. If there's a problem and you need more time, please contact me.

Shipping

Once I've received your order and receipt of payment, packages will be shipped the following business day. All comics will be bagged and boarded and books will be packaged in bubble wrap. I will contact you once your package has shipped.

For domestic shipping (within the US): Flat packages (prints, thin books, etc.) will be mailed first class. Larger, heavier packages will be shipped via media mail so that I can track them.

For international shipping: All international packages will be mailed first class.

If you would like to have a package shipped by a specific method, or with insurance, tracking, etc., please let me know before making your payment.

Refunds and Exchanges

All sales are final unless something is damaged. Personalized books are non-returnable, unless there's a printing error. You are responsible for shipping the item back to me, but I will refund you the cost of postage via PayPal.

Additional Policies and FAQs

If you'd like any custom work done, see my alchemy page. The written work in question can be found here: http://aforementionedproductions.com/carissahalston

FAQ:

1/Do you offer any of your books in digital form by request?
The books I sell via Etsy are not available in digital form, but much of my shorter work has been published online. For a list of what you can read, see this page: http://aforementionedproductions.com/carissahalston

2/Do you ever have book signings?
Yes. I have readings and performances of my work as often as I can afford to. I also have a table in Artists Alley at the New York Comic Convention each year. 2009 will be my first year having a table at the MOCCA (Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art) Art Festival, so you can find me there June 6th and 7th, 2009.
