Welcome to my shop and thanks for taking the time to familiarize yourself with my policies.

I should tell you that not only am I a soap crafter, I am an enthusiast as well! I believe in making top quality soaps and other products for you to enjoy. I really love what I do, and put much thought and consideration into what I create. I believe in above par customer service, and providing the best shopping experience a lil' old business like mine can offer. I'm pretty sure that you'll enjoy using my products as much as I enjoyed making them for you.

Payment

At the moment I accept only PayPal and credit card payments. If I see a need to, I may expand into more payment options.

I do not accept checks, money orders, or cash.

Once payment is made I do ship items within 24-48 hours. If payment is not immediately received, I do give a grace period :). If you are having trouble with the checkout process, I am happy to help walk you through it. I do give at least three days for payment to be received before canceling a sale. Don't worry though, I will never cancel a sale without contacting you first. If I can't hear from you within the three days, the sale will be canceled. If I do hear from you, I'll try to work with you as much as I can to complete the transaction.

As of 4/18/2009 I will be charging a sales tax for all Illinois customers. This charge should be reflected by Paypal. All other customers outside the state of Illinois are exempt from this charge.

Shop prices are subject to change without notice.

Shipping

FOR US and CANADA BUYERS: I no longer charge any shipping for the majority of items in my shop.

FOR ALL OTHER INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Shipping remains in place due to high cost of shipping to countries outside the US and Canada. All shipping overcharges of $1.00 or more will be refunded via PayPal.

I provide package tracking numbers for all domestic orders (US), and it will be provided to you after the package has shipped. International customers do not receive tracking numbers due to the method of shipping. I ship first class and that method does not offer tracking for international mail.

Refunds and Exchanges

RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Due to the nature of the items I sell, I cannot refund opened packages for cosmetic items. This includes all soaps, facials, lotions or other moisturizers, etc. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your order please contact me via Etsy or my email address. I will do everything I can to resolve your issue.

RECEIVED WRONG ITEM: In the event that you receive the wrong order, please contact me before you send the package back. I do not accept opened items. The cost of return shipping must be paid by the customer. It will be reimbursed upon receiving the returned package.

CHANGE OF HEART: Did you change your mind? Well, if you receive your item and decided it simply is not what you want, please return it unopened. Customer is solely responsible for return shipping, and it will NOT be reimbursed.

SPECIAL CASE REFUNDS: If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, and a solution that is amicable for both me and you cannot be reached, full or partial refunds can be given for any product I offer regardless of whether or not it has been used. I will handle this on a case-by-case basis ONLY, and it is at my full discretion to offer a refund either in part or in whole.

Additional Policies and FAQs

CONCERNS/QUESTIONS: If you have any concerns about my product such as ingredients or allergy concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. I have information and knowledge about the ingredients I use. If I can't answer your questions immediately, I'll be happy to find out whatever it is you need to know.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact me and let me know. Customer satisfaction after the point-of-sale is more precious to me than the sale itself. Remember there is a person behind this shop that is concerned about your overall experience, not a big stuffy company that can't be bothered. Your concerns are never taken lightly or blown off by me, and I will do everything in my power within reason to see to it that you walk away satisfied and happy.
