Welcome to Swan Mountain Soaps! Customer service is a huge priority for us - please let us know how we can make your etsy experience more successful!

Payment

* Currently we take Paypal and RME only. At this stage, we are unable to take personal checks or money orders. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Shipping

* PLEASE NOTE: we normally ship twice a week. It can, however, take up to one week for us to ship your order - possibly longer than that for custom orders. However, if the item is a gift or needed for an upcoming event, please convo us and we will go out of our way to get it there ASAP - this usually means shipping the next day. If this poses a problem for you, please contact us and we will work something out!

* We normally ship single and very small items - such as lip balms - in a padded mailer, unless it is more cost-effective to ship in a Priority Mail box. Please contact us and let us know if you need an item in a hurry - we are happy to make it a priority to get it to you quickly, and we are also willing to have you upgrade shipping to the next highest level, if you choose.

* International orders are shipped once a week, unless otherwise agreed on prior to the transaction.

Refunds and Exchanges

* Because of the personal nature of the items we sell, we are unable to accept returns. If there is a mistake or something has gone wrong in shipping, please contact us and we will correct it to the extent we are able.

Additional Policies and FAQs

* Most of our soaps are 5-6 ounces. That's a hefty bar of soap! Some of our soaps are smaller than that, but almost all are at least 4.5 ounces, and that's what is stated on the label (unless specified otherwise).

* We do not add lather boosters such as SLS or SLES to our soaps. Stated again, our soaps do NOT contain either of those ingredients! Also, our products do not contain parabens. We do use preservatives on occasion, when necessary, but we currently only use Optiphen, which is paraben-free and free of formaldehyde as well. We try to use fragrance oils that do not contain phthalates, but oftentimes we simply aren't sure if we are not given that information by our supplier - that information is often considered proprietary by the fragrance creator and can be very difficult to obtain. Still, if you are curious feel free to ask and we will try our best to get an answer for you.
