A few notes about my pottery . . .

* Because I make mostly functional pottery, glaze stability and safety is a huge concern for me. I mix all my own glazes, and have decided that some materials I just don't need to work with. For this reason I never use lead, cadmium, barium, manganese, or lithium. Additionally, I have sent all of the glazes you see in my shop for professional leach-testing so that you and I can both be assured of their long-term stability and safety.

* I am also concerned about my impact on the environment! Thanks to a renewable energy program through our local utility (Menasha Utilities), my kiln, studio & home are powered by renewable (wind!) energy. I feel good about how my pottery is made & want you to feel good about using it!

* The packaging your pottery comes in may not be pretty, but I take care to wrap everything carefully, and ship double-boxed. I try to reuse boxes, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts whenever I can!

Shipping

This holiday season, I adjusted my shipping estimates to reflect USPS Priority Mail 2-3 day delivery prices (rather than the slower Parcel Post) - since then, I've decided I really like the faster delivery, and see that the difference in price is usually pretty small.

So . . . I'm leaving my shipping estimates "Priority Mail" . . . but contact me if you would prefer the less expensive (but slower) Parcel Post and I'll refund the difference to you!

I'll also refund the difference if I've overestimated shipping by more than $1.00 -

. . . and if you'd you'd like an Express Mail overnight shipping or international shipping estimates, convo me with your zip code - thanks, everyone!

Refunds and Exchanges

I take a lot of pride in my work, and want you to love it! If it arrives damaged, or if you are unhappy with it in any way, please contact me! I would rather replace it or refund it for you than have you keep a piece of that you are not totally satisfied with it!
