Welcome to Handmade Joy! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. These policies are a work in progress and are being continually updated.

Payment

Only Paypal and Revolutionary Money Exchange are accepted as payment at this time. Payment must be made within 3 days.

Sales Tax:
All packages shipped to Louisiana addresses will be charged 4% sales tax through Paypal. In addition, packages shipped to Louisiana residents living in the greater Lafayette area will be charged an additional 4-5% local sales tax. For example, if a package is shipped to a Youngsville, LA address a total of 8.5% sales tax will be charged (4% state tax and 4.5% local tax).

Shipping

I ship most days of the week. I do my best to reuse as much packaging and shipping materials as possible – but I make sure that your package is secure.

International shipping - I only ship to Canada at this time, but I plan on adding more destinations in the future.

Canadian shoppers - Please be prepared for your package to take up to 2 weeks or longer to arrive. I ship Canadian packages twice a week, but it still takes time to go through customs, etc. I will not mark your package as a gift on the customs form, so please do not ask - Thanks!

I do not charge a handling fee. What you pay is actual shipping plus the delivery confirmation fee added when shipping through Paypal.

Refunds and Exchanges

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, contact me within 7 days of receiving your item(s). After receiving the returned goods from you in the original condition, I will refund the purchase amount minus any shipping charges. I want you to be happy with your purchase :).

Custom Orders:
I welcome requests for special orders. Just send me a convo to see if I have the item(s) in stock and if so, I will be happy to create a listing for you.

Suggestions, Comments, Feedback, Etc.
If you would like to suggest a new product, comment on the shop, or offer any other form of constructive criticism - I will gratefully consider your suggestions.
