Welcome

Hi there, and welcome to my Etsy shop where you can find original artwork by me, Marissa McNickle.

Payment

Immediate payment through PayPal is expected for all purchases. I will prepare the buyer's item(s) to be mailed as soon as I receive your PayPal payment.

On a case to case basis, I can work out other forms of payment, but I require this payment prior to my mailing of the purchased items.

If I get an order and do not receive payment within a reasonable time, and I am unable to communicate with the buyer, the sale will be canceled.

I will always confirm shipping information between that provided by Etsy and PayPal, and if there are any discrepancies I will make sure to clarify matters with the buyer. If I cannot communicate with the buyer within a reasonable time, I will cancel the sale and refund the money.

Shipping

On many listings, the shipping method is specified. Shipping will usually be done via United States First Class mail, Parcel Post, or sometimes via Priority Mail. It depends on the item, and I usually try and save money while trying to get the best deal for soonest delivery.

Because I live in rural Vermont, shipping can sometimes take a little extra longer. I cannot always get out to the nearest post office immediately after an order, so I appreciate people's patience. Sometimes, though, one may be pleasantly surprised at the speed of delivery!

Some items I require insurance, and that is factored into the shipping price. If a listed item does not specify shipping insurance charges, but the buyer would like insurance added, I can adjust the bill accordingly. I can also alter the shipping preferences, if the buyer would like something upgraded for more immediate arrival or delivery confirmation, etc. I haven't yet dealt with International Buyers, but for many items I list the suggested shipping charges for "Everywhere else."

I frequently use 'recycled' packaging, so hopefully one will not be disappointed by the appearance of your box or the randomness of cushioning to protect the package. I enclose a PayPal packing slip.

Refunds and Exchanges

I wish for the buyer to be happy with their purchased order, so I encourage communication with me if one has any problems, so I can fix something to prevent negative feedback. I am flexible and negotiable.

I am not responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken items: for any items that I believe to be fragile, I will already have shipping insurance on them to protect the buyer's investment.

I do not accept returns, and cannot refund the buyer's money if they are unhappy with an item. If the buyer does not receive their item in the mail for any reason, and enough time has passed to allow for mail errors, please let me know of the misfortune and I can see what I can do to try and offer a replacement item.
