Welcome

The real Jack and Belle were my grandparents. They taught me how to make do with what you have, how to reuse and re-purpose, how to make something beautiful from found things. From them, I learned how to grow a garden, to store up for the winter, to sew, embroider and crochet. I also learned to appreciate lines of clean cloth diapers hanging on the line.

Everything else I needed to know, my grandfather told me, could be learned from books and giving it an honest try. So I taught myself to make lace, to knit, to sew heirloom garments. I love the rustic and the fine equally - I think that is evident in the things you'll find here. I hope that the love that goes into the making also shines through.

Payment

You may pay by Paypal or send a personal check by post. Payment is due within a week of purchase. Custom orders that are canceled are subject to a charge equal to half the purchase price to cover materials and listing fees.

Shipping

I ship USPS, but will send UPS and FEDEX by request. You pay customs charges on all international parcels.

Refunds and Exchanges

You may exchange a ready made item if you purchased the wrong colour or size. Custom orders will not be eligible for refund or exchange, please be sure to be very specific when ordering.
