All of my work is created using traditional metalsmithing techniques. I spend all the time I can in my studio and enjoy every minute of it. I hope that you will enjoy wearing my designs as much as I enjoy making them!

I add new pieces each week, so stop back often!

Only genuine freshwater pearls, precious and semiprecious stones, Sterling Silver, 14K gold-filled and hight karat gold are used.

All pieces are hand crafted with great attention to detail and design aesthetic.

Payment

I accept payment via Paypal. You can use any major credit card or send a e check through Paypal. To use your credit card without opening a Paypal account, choose the Paypal option and look for further instructions on the next page. Shipping

Domestic Orders

All domestics orders are mail via USPS First Class Mail with delivery confirmation and insurance for a flat fee of $4.00. Most of my items are ready to ship but others I may need 5 days for construction.

All jewelry will be packaged for gift-giving, either in a kraft box or small bag with tissue paper.

Expedited is available upon request, this service cost $7.00 insurance included.

International Orders

USPS first class is the most economical shipping service and has no guaranteed arrival time, even though they suggest a 6 to 10 postal days estimated delivery time frame. This service cost a flat fee of $4.95 and has no control once the package is delivered to the local postal service.

I don't know how efficient or fast the postal service is every country, but I have had cases where local postal services have delayed final delivery to the customer for weeks!

USPS first class has no international tracking service, therefore I can't keep track of the package's position.

USPS first class packages are given a customs number that is scanned at the origin. Often, the scan is not completed at customs at the destination country and there is no record at USPS.com that the package has arrived. In most cases, the package is delivered to its final destination anyway without any record of its arrival.

Buyers who decide to use USPS First Class International must WAIVE(via conversation) all claims to refund or replacement (proof of shipping is still available).

To be considered for a REFUND OR REPLACEMENT on INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, you need to;

Upgrade to USPS Register Mail and I will pay for the cost of insurance. You will pay $12.95 and I will pay for the insurance.

PROOF OF SHIPPING is always able to be proven by Maria Burgos. Our receipts are used to verify that your package was shipped, on what day, to what zip code, with cost and services purchased.

YOUR RIGHTS...Maria Burgos will supply this proof upon request.

Maria Burgos quality checks all items before they leave the studio AND packs with the most reasonable & protective methods (box, bubble, tissue)to ensure it arrives as beautifully as it was shipped.

Refunds and Exchanges

We all get buyer's guilt, from time to time. If you click "buy" and then change your mind, I will cancel a sale, but please let me know *immediately* when this is the case. I will only do this one time per customer. More than one canceled sale from a customer will be reported to admin. Customers who purchase items and don't pay after 5 days will be reported to the admin.

I guarantee everything you buy from me to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship. If you are not completely satisfied with any product purchase from me, return it unaltered within 15 days and I will exchange it, replace ir or refund your money, whichever you prefer. They must be in unworn original condition to be returned. This warranty does not include incidental or consequential expenses or custom made items. No other warranty is implied. The buyer is responsible for the return shiping.

I will repair anything you manage to break for a nominal fee, and I will make repairs for the life of the jewelry. I stand by my work!

14/20 (or 1/20th 14 karat) gold filled or gold overlay is made by heat and pressure bonding a thin layer of gold to a brass core. Karat gold covers the brass surface, making it tarnish resistant. The value of gold filled is greater than gold plated because gold filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film. It is economical as you can enjoy the rich look of gold at a fraction of the cost. It is about 30% more expensive than sterling silver.

Fine silver is 99.99% silver as opposed to sterling silver which is 92.5%. I occasionally use fine silver because they are easier to work with for a particular design. Fine silver tarnishes slower than sterling silver and is more valuable as well due to the higher silver content.

I only select the best stones in a strand. I pay a bit more per strand but the quality is undeniably better. And from these strands, I exclude stones with obvious inclusions, cracks, dents and cloudiness. For really large stones, minor fractures or inclusions are unavoidable and I make sure I describe this in the listing if there is one. It is very difficult to show this in photos even up close. The pricing will reflect the quality of the stone. For earrings, besides getting the best looking stones of the bunch, I make sure they are closely matched.

Custom orders may be requested using the "request custom item" button, found near my profile. I will send pictures of your custom order prior to payment to ensure you are satisfied prior to shipment.
