Welcome

I have two basic goals for my store:

1. To spread the joy of all things handmade. I believe surrounding yourself with hand crafted goods can have a subtle yet profound impact on your daily life (I know it has an impact on mine).

2. To help out someone who really needs it. For this reason, 50% of all proceeds raised by Mo'Coffee's Art Cafe will go to sponsor kids through Compassion International. More info about this organization can be found at:

Payment

The easiest way to make a payment is through PayPal. I also accept money orders or personal checks, but I cannot ship the work until payment is received (see shipping).

Shipping

I generally ship work within 3 working days of receiving payment. If you require something sooner please email me and I will do what I can to fulfill your requests.

I ship most work through UPS, using cardboard mailers to keep 2-D work from being damaged and lots of bubble wrap for 3-D work. I pack almost everything myself (I have a lot of experience as an art packer). Note that if you request that I frame a 2-D work for you it will increase the shipping costs.

A few items (large ceramic sculpture) require special packing, or can be delivered/ picked up if in the Chicago area. This type of packing can be costly, but I promise to do everything I can to keep the costs as low as I can.

I will also do what I can to keep costs low on multiple items going to the same place. Please email me for details.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds can be made on items damaged during shipping. PLEASE SAVE ALL PACKING MATERIALS, as UPS requires to see the packing to refund me on work damaged during shipping.

Exchanges can ONLY be made on works made in multiples, like digital prints.

HOW TO GET FREE ARTWORK! (Well, sort of)
I love to hear from y'all! It can get awfully lonely making work in the studio and never seeing your customers face to face. If you've bought something of mine, send me an email with a photo of you with your artwork (or better yet post it online yourself--see below-- and send me the link). IF I PUT IT ON MY BLOG I'LL GIVE YOU $5 STORE CREDIT!

Also, IF YOU REFER SOMEONE TO MY STORE AND THEY PURCHASE SOMETHING (make sure they mention your name) I'LL GIVE YOU $5 STORE CREDIT!

So, if you post a picture of you, say, enjoying a cup of coffee from one of my mugs, and five people read it and come to my shop and buy something (mentioning your name), then I'll give you $30 of store credit. That's a pretty sweet deal, huh?

THE FINE PRINT: Store credit can be used on any items, but DOES NOT cover shipping costs. (aww, bummer)
