Welcome to Danbury Lane! My name is Rebekah, and I am very proud to offer my handcrafted boutique tutus and accessories at affordable prices here on etsy. I use only the highest quality materials available for my unique designs.

Creating for Princesses everywhere is my passion, and I am thrilled to share my creations with you. I have been crafting for almost 25 years now, and can't get enough of creating!

Payment

Paypal or personal checks are accepted. You do not need an account to use Paypal, and Etsy has a helpful guide for you at: http://www.etsy.com/help_guide_checkout.php. If you chose to pay with an e-check on paypal, or when paying by personal check, note that your order will not be processed until payment has cleared. Please inform me by convo. if you are mailing a personal check.

In the event of non-payment or non-communication I will attempt to reach you once by convo. and once by email before asking etsy management to cancel the sale. Often size information is needed to process your order, and I cannot proceed without it. Thank you for understanding this.

Shipping

Please double check that your Paypal address matches the one on your etsy receipt. If these addresses do not match, I will not ship until the correct address is verified.

Once orders are delivered to the post office by hand I am not responsible for loss or damage.

International orders:
I do ship internationally! Just convo. me if you are outside of the main U.S., and I will quickly give you a shipping price. I charge exact shipping and will refund any overpaid amount via paypal. I provide a proof of mailing certificate for all international orders at my own expense, but cannot be responsible for goods beyond this point. I do not claim orders as 'gifts' through customs. You may add insurance to international orders, just convo. me for this cost depending on your location.

Domestic:
I almost always use Priority Mail 2-3 day for tutu orders. Shipments that qualify will be sent first class. All domestic orders (Main US) include delivery confirmation.

Refunds and Exchanges

Feedback is a permanent part of my sales record, and affects my everyday business. Remember that addressing any problems that arrise during or after a transaction is part of my customer service!

Customer Satisfaction is high priority. I take great pride in my items and ship them carefully with beautiful presentation. If for any reason you do not get what you wanted, please contact me right away and I'm sure we can work it out together. Because you cannot touch or try on items bought on etsy.com, I feel this is important to customer satisfaction to make it work.

Custom orders may not be returned due to their original nature.

Items can be cancelled only if they have not yet been made.

Why buy hand knotted tutus?
Pull on tutus are by far the best style for toddlers, and easy to manage! Even sewn tutus can break threads when stretched too far though. Some tutus are ‘hand-tied’, and these can loosen over time and come apart. My double-hand-knotted tutus are both durable and high quality, with sections that stay put! Plus, with my 25 years of crafting and sewing experience, you know you’re getting a great tutu at a great price.

How do I get the best measurement for my tutu?
First, make sure your Princess is standing up straight. You will want to have her relaxed, and not holding in air. Next, have her place her hands on her hips. This will indicate her natural waistline, and where the tutu will naturally hang from. Measure around with a tape, making sure to overlap the ends one on top of the other. Finally, check that there are no gaps in the tape or thick clothing affecting the measurement, and you are finished! I use this measurement as a guideline for a tutu with the most room to grow, and aim to get a perfect fit!


Do you offer wholesale pricing?
My Etsy prices are at a discount from Retail/Boutique prices. Etsy.com is an extremely competativly priced market, and making a profit at what you love to do is important to all of us. For this reason I try to offer wholesale items that allow for industry markup if I can. Please contact me for further details.

Computer Monitors do very. I try to represent all colors accurately in natural light to ensure you receive exactly the tutu you're hoping for!

PARENTAL SUPERVISION IS RECOMMENDED for children under 3 years with ANY tutu and accessories regardless of where you chose to buy. Happy Playtime, and play it safe!
