I include free lavender sachets (great for keeping the moths away!) in every order. I also offer a free ball-winding service for all of our commercially spun yarns. Just let me know in the comments if you'd like your yarn wound or if you DO NOT want lavender.

Shipping

PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PACKAGE AFTER IT HAS ENTERED THE USPS SYSTEM AND WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR LOST PACKAGES. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD INSURANCE TO YOUR ORDER, PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA CONVO AFTER ORDERING AND INCLUDE YOUR TRANSACTION ID(S) IN THE MESSAGE.

I ship via USPS First Class Mail for small orders, and USPS Priority Mail for larger orders. I do my best to ship all orders within 3-5 business days of payment, usually less. There are rare occasions when I cannot get to the post office within this time frame, but this will not happen often.

Refunds and Exchanges

I will allow returns and exchanges of NEW, UN-USED items for up to one month from the purchase date. If you are unhappy with an item you have purchased, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to be sure that you are satisfied.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Custom Dyeing:

At this time, I am not offering custom dyeing. However, I do keep a running list of what people would like to have and this helps me to decide what to dye for the next update.

Knots:

Knots are a normal part of the milling process and will be present in some of the skeins I sell.

Photo Accuracy:

To ensure the greatest possible color accuracy, I use professional daylight-balanced studio lighting and digital photography. My images are never edited for color. With this system, colors are true on my monitor. However, because I am unable to account for different settings on individual monitors, what you see may not be what you get. If you are ever unhappy with the colors in your yarn, please contact me for an exchange or refund. I want you to be a satisfied customer!

Allergen information:

All of my items come from a kid and pet-friendly, non-smoking home studio. The animals are not allowed near the fiber, but please be aware if you or someone in your family has particularly severe cat or dog allergies.

Additionally, I include sachets containing lavender with all orders to deter moths. Please let me know if you do not want the lavender sachet included.

Dyeing Techniques

Glimmer™

Fiberphile Glimmer™ is a beautiful semi-solid yarn that has random light to dark areas of one hue. It is a good choice for patterns that feature complex stitch patterns.

Because colors are applied randomly and are allowed to blend during the dye process, projects made with this yarn will not have repeated patterns or regular pooling. If pooling does occur, it will be random and will not repeat throughout the project.

Alchemy™

Fiberphile Alchemy™ is dyed in random overlapping layers of three to four harmonious colors. This technique creates beautiful blending effects and results in a rich, multi-dimensional colorscape for your finished project.

Because colors are applied randomly and are allowed to blend during the dye process, projects made with this yarn will not have repeated patterns or regular pooling. If pooling does occur, it will be random and will not repeat throughout the project.

Eclipse™

Fiberphile Eclipse™ is similar to our Glimmer™ semi-solid yarn in that it contains only one color and has random areas of light to dark. The eclipse is created by adding black or brown which results in a rich, dark hue with incredible depth.

Because colors are applied randomly and are allowed to blend during the dye process, projects made with this yarn will not have repeated patterns or regular pooling. If pooling does occur, it will be random and will not repeat throughout the project.
