Welcome

Gangbusters wants to make you happy. I want to make you happy. Otherwise, there would be no Gangbusters. I would just continue to keep all the jewelry for myself and wear it every day with every single outfit I own. But I want to share it, because I like wearing it so much, I think other people might, too. And I guess if we're going to make sure we're all happy, we'd better have some rules.

Payment

I ask that items purchased from Gangbusters through Etsy be checked out and fully paid for within the week. If a whole week passes, we're going to have to talk, because someone else might like to buy that item and it wouldn't seem right to reserve it for ages. But as long as you let me know what's going on, I'm sure we'll be able to work something out.

I am not charging additional sales tax at this time, regardless of buyer location.

If you buy an item and then change your mind before I ship it, that's okay. Your payment will be refunded immediately. However, I will deduct the Etsy relisting fee as a restocking charge, which I think is fair, since it's only 20 cents.

If you change your mind after I ship it, that's still okay, but I ask that you return it to me safely before a refund is issued, and your refund will be less shipping and the 20-cent restocking fee.

Shipping

Items are shipped within three days via USPS First Class Mail, unless otherwise noted. Rings come packed very fluffily on a backing card, and pendants are shipped in a reusable little protective Gangbusters tin.

International packages will be shipped the same way, and the Customs form will be filled out with true facts, so if the package should incur any taxes or fees or difficulty on your end, I'm afraid you'll be responsible for that — but that's an unnecessary disclaimer, right? because why would Customs get fussy over jewelry? I ask you.

Refunds and Exchanges

If any item is damaged or defective in any way, please contact me immediately so we can arrange a return for full refund including shipping (doubled to include return shipping).

Additional Policies and FAQs

I stand behind the quality of my Gangbusters jewelry. I try to ensure that my photographs are as clear and representative as possible. Because they are handmade, not all pieces will have perfectly uniform edges. Because the materials are vintage, some of the game pieces have scratches and dents and other sorts of personality. They are not guaranteed to be waterproof or stand up to being worn on the rugby field or during any other activity that may be excessively hard on them. But they are made well, and they should last you a good, long time if you are kind to them.
