Welcome to Blue Cuddly Designs!

My clothes are created by sewing one of a kind items for your child, or embellishing ready-made items with appliqués and/or hand embroidery. All of my products are made using brand name clothing, and boutique quality fabrics and trims. Our clothing and fabrics are 100% cotton and are pre-washed and preshrunk to create a better fit and less puckering of appliqués. They are made in a smoke free environment and washed using an allergen free (no scent, no dyes) detergent.

I love to create custom designs. If you don't see what you want, contact me. I will work with you to create a design specifically for your child using fabrics and trims selected to reflect your child’s unique personality.

Payment

Currently I only accept PayPal.

Orders will not be shipped or, in the case of custom orders, will not be started until full payment has been received and cleared.

NC residents will be charged the 7.75% sales tax.

Shipping

Shipping will be via USPS. I ship using flat rate priority packing with a confirmation.

Please contact me for international orders before purchasing. I will be happy to calculate shipping costs for you prior to purchase.

If this is a gift, I can ship it to your recipient. Let me know and we can work out the details.

In stock items will ship within 2 days of payment.

Please allow 2 weeks from payment for custom orders.

Refunds and Exchanges

If there is a problem with the item once you receive it, please contact me immediately. I will be happy to exchange items if needed. Return shipping costs are negotiable.

Please note: some custom items can not be exchanged for an identical item due to limits in fabric, etc. I will try to replace it with a comparable fabric and/or design.

Additional Policies and FAQs

All items are from a smoke free home. I do have a cat who manages to find her way into the sewing room on occasion. Please note that I cannot guarantee that items are completely free of pet allergens.

Please feel free to ask for any custom order. I really love creating designs specifically for a child based on his/her special favorites.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
All of our products are made using brand name clothing, quality fabrics and trims. Our clothing and fabrics are 100% cotton. They have been prewashed so you should see little to no shrinkage when you launder them.

Appliques and embroidery is securely attached. You should feel as safe laundering Blue Cuddly clothes as you would any other children's clothes.

I recommend the following washing and care:

Wash item inside out using a gentle cycle.
Do not bleach.
Machine dry on low.
Use a warm iron as needed to press appliques and embroidery.
Do not iron over buttons or other non fabric embellishments.
