8th Line Designs strives to create unique designs which you will make you happy to adorn yourself or your home with. The finest quality materials are hand selected and a great deal of thought goes into each handcrafted article. As a rule, we strive to make unique pieces and therefore do not duplicate designs exactly once they have been initially crafted. The only exception to this rule is for bridal parties who may wish to have replicas crafted.

Each handcrafted item leaving the studio of 8th Line Designs is put through a series of tests to ensure the piece has no intrinsic faults. Each piece of silver jewellery undergoes a tumbling and hand polishing process prior to being carefully packaged and protected from the rigors of being shipped. Each lampworked glass creation is annealed in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure the glass is as durable as it can be. Hand polishing and inspection occurs before being packed for shipment to ensure there are no intrinsic flaws in the glass.

Treating your purchased goods in the above manner would be pointless if the philosophy used for art creations was not extended to clients. It is my goal to provide the same level of attention to detail and customer service from the moment you purchase an item from my shop until you have it safely in your hands.

Payment

PayPal is my preferred method of payment. I will accept cheques or money orders drawn a Canadian Financial Institution. Products paid for via cheque or money order will be shipped once the funds have fully cleared. Items will not be considered fully paid without the inclusion of all shipping and insurance (where applicable) costs.

International Customers - PayPal (from a verified account only).
Payment must be received within 3 days of your purchase.

Shipping

Quoted shipping charges are for air mail parcel via Canada Post. Any other method will need to be calculated accordingly and will be done only by written request. Due to the rural nature of my studio, shipments will be made twice weekly - on Mondays and Thursdays. You will be notified by email once your package has been sent out. If you require your purchase be sent out sooner, please contact me in advance to ensure this is feasible prior to placing your order. Each request will be considered on an individual basis.

Any other shipping costs will be determined based on your selected method of shipping and you will be advised by email prior to receiving an adjusted invoice of the shipping costs for any alternate shipping method selected.

Combine Shipping and Save
Additional items purchased within a 3 day period will be combined with earlier purchases to eliminate additional shipping costs.

A combined shipping invoice will be produced once all products have been identified.

ATTN: International Buyers - I have no way of calculating any brokerage fees or international duties which may be levied on the materials used in my work. ADDITIONAL CHARGES may be incurred beyond the monies paid for the product and its shipment. I do not receive these monies and this additional fee is not placed on the product by me. Please contact your local import office if you are concerned about additional duties, taxes or customs fees. I do not have access to this information.

Refunds and Exchanges

Your satisfaction is guaranteed! If you are unhappy with your purchases, you may return them within 10 days for a refund or an exchange. I regret that I am unable to return shipping fees unless the product is proven to be in some way defective.

Insurance is optional but is highly recommended. 8th Line Designs cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged goods.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Every effort is made to accurately represent the handcrafted articles for sale in our online shop. Glass creations and semi-precious stones are sometimes difficult to capture in their full glory and computer enhancement can often lead to expectations of more brilliance than is afforded the piece in ordinary light. I expect you'll be pleased with the realization that these pieces are actually nicer in real life than in their digitized online format.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, I encourage you to contact me directly to arrange for a refund or exchange.
