VintageFreshSoap's Shop Policies

Welcome

Welcome to Vintage Fresh Soap & Sundries! I'm so excited to start the etsy journey. Here are some things you might want to know about me and the things I sell.

I'm a soapaholic (www.soapaholicsanonymous.blogspot.com) and love all things vintage. Especially if they are found in the kitchen. Too bad its the smallest room in my house!

In my kitchen I do my mad scientist experiments and come up with incredible soaps, yummy jams, food stores for winter and the occasional flop.

I'm a perfectionist with anything I make so nothing but the best is sold. My perfectionism extends to packaging, shipping and overall customer service...stress for me equals a great experience for you ;-)

Payment

I accept Paypal, RME and for local purchases, cash. I ship once I've recieved payment.

Paypal is required for international purchases.

Shipping

I love getting things I've ordered right away so I work hard to do the same for others. With a family of 6 I get a little bogged down some days. Its my goal to ship everything within 2 days of when you order, or for soap bases, as soon as its able to be shipped. I use priority mail as often as possible...flat rate shipping is a dream come true. The USPS doesn't allow fragrance or essential oils to be shipped though them, so any orders containing them will be shipped UPS ground.

I am happy to ship internationally if you pay applicable shipping charges, custom and duty fees.

I will refund shipping charges if you order multiple items. I'm not into making money off shipping.

I encourage local purchases, so we can work out drop off/pick up. In this case I will accept cash payments.

Refunds and Exchanges

I can not give refunds on soap bases though for everything else I will give a full refund for returns if the package is unopened and if you pay shipping. Items that are returned having been opened will pay .50 per opened item. Exchanges follow the same principles. I will exchange if its unopened. If opened .50 will be deducted. By packaging I mean the actual soap packaging, not the shipping box.

I will always work to make right any of my mistakes. With 3 kids and a new baby, I'm bound to make one once or twice.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Handmade:
Remember, all items sold are handmade and will have slight variations.

Materials:
Almost all of the materials I use are purchased locally. I look for high quality ingredients to make the best soap possible. Some of my favorites include avocado, shea and cocoa butter, clay and silk. The silk I use is tussah silk which is cruelty free. Sometimes my bars are all natural and other times I will use fragrance oils and/or lab colors. All bars are tested by me and my family. I won't sell anything that I'm not completely happy with.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle:
I try to incorporate this into my packaging and shipping (and life in general). Just about everything you recieve is recycled or recyclable, reused or reduced.
