Payment
At this time I only accept paypal. Credit cards and E-checks are accepted through paypal.
I DO NOT accept money orders or checks.
I require payment to be made at the time of purchase. If payment is not received within 1 hour, I will send a notice requesting payment, and grant a grace period of up to 24 hours.
I reserve the right to cancel a sale at my discretion.
Washington state residents will be charged sales tax through Paypal.
Shipping
New shipping policy as of January 1st 2010-
As of January 1st, my standard shipping days will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you need your purchase to be shipped sooner, please let me know.
I cannot guarantee postal delivery speed. Currently, packages shipped within the U.S. are taking between 2-10 days to be received, and International varies between 1-4 weeks.
If there is any reason for delay on my end, I will contact you ASAP via Etsy conversation or Email.
In the event that your Paypal address and your Etsy mailing address do not match, I will contact you, as soon as I notice the discrepancy to get clarification. This may cause a delay in shipping time. If I cannot get in contact with you after 1 week of purchase, I will ship to your Etsy address as default.
On domestic packages, if you would like your items to reach you sooner, Contact me BEFORE you purchase so I can revise the shipping charges to cover Priority (an additional $3-$5) or Express (an additonal $18-$16) shipping.
-All domestic purchases are shipped with delivery confirmation.
-All domestic purchases valued over $25 are shipped with insurance.
-All domestic purchases valued at over $100 are shipped with delivery confirmation, insurance and signature confirmation.
FaeriedTreasures is not responsible for any fees, taxes, duties, or charges that the customer may incur past the point of sale. These fees are NOT included in the shipping price and are the SOLE responsibility of the customer.
If customs in your country seizes your package for any reason, there will most certainly be a delay in shipping times.
Please also be aware that sometimes the post office makes mistakes, and even with USPS tracking on US orders, sometimes they do not scan the package at every stopover along its delivery route. Also, often times they are not "Scanned" until they reach a sorting center in a larger city nearby.

A special note for international customers. PLEASE be aware of your country's customs regulations.
There are certain countries that prohibit shipments of certain components that I use in my jewelry. If your country prohibits the shipment of these items from my country to yours, the sale may have to be canceled. I will contact you if there are any issues.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you have any issues with your purchase, whether it be while in transit, or after it is received, please contact me and I will do what I can to help.
Each item is carefully packaged so that breakage will not occur, but occasionally postal accidents happen. Please contact me so we can work through it.
Though my standard policy is "No refunds", there are always going to be matters which are out of both our hands which must result in a refund. These matters will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
-If there is any issue with your purchase, please alert me within 7 days of postal receipt.
-A refund, less the cost of shipping, will be issued after either the item has been returned to me (after arrangements have been discussed) or after photographs of the damage have been exchanged.
-When returning a product to me, it must be shipped with delivery confirmation.
-The cost to ship an item back to me for a return is the responsibility of the customer.
-NO REFUNDS will be given after 7 days of postal receipt.
Remember when wearing glass beaded jewelry that strings and cords and chains do only stretch so far, and glass beads and bottles will break if dropped. Certain metals can and will tarnish, so please treat your jewelry with care.
Jewelry shouldn't be worn while swimming, bathing, or washing dishes (this makes a great excuse if you don't feel like doing the dishes!)
-I cannot be held responsible for breakage due to excessive wear and tear.
Many of my items are made with recycled, upcycled, and vintage components. Some of them already have some wear and tear on them. All of this is stated clearly in each listing, and documented in the photographs.
Additional Policies and FAQs
All jewelry items are wrapped in tissue, tucked into a sturdy little gift box with cotton padding, tied with a ribbon and then shipped inside a padded mailer.
Depending on how large your order is, some items may be grouped together within a larger box. If you need each of your items to be boxed separately, please contact me prior to purchase.
