Here at The Sparrows Nest, I take every piece I create as well as each transaction very seriously.
I do this solely because I like to bring happiness to special peoples lives through my hand made artwork, so it stands to reason that I will always work with you to make every purchase you make here at Sakura a special one, so you can focus on enjoying the excitement of finding that one accessory that always makes you smile, the security of knowing when its on its way and the surprise when you open your package....Read on to learn the finer points to each.

Payment

~*~ Payment Options ~*~
I Currently accept PayPal, but I will gladly take a check, money order. When Paying by Check, I usually wait for the check to clear, before shipping the item(s) out.
I do not charge Sales Tax ( but this will be changing only for Arizona buyers in the coming weeks)
If there is a problem and you can no longer go thru with the transaction, just let me know, and we will work something out, or I will gladly refund your payment at any time.

Shipping

I consider every item I sell out of my studio, as a present from me to you, and I treat it as such, I have fun with it. I try and use as much recycled materials as possible, and encourage you to reuse the packaging too.
I usually ship via USPS, but I am flexible and can ship with your preferred carrier with no problem...just let me know what you have in mind.

Additional Policies and FAQs

~*~ Wholesale Inquiries ~*~
I have done several wholesale orders over the past years, all of which I completely enjoyed doing and count as some of my most loyal return customers.
I am geared up for quantity, and can work with you on a custom made item for your boutique and or duplicate any item you see in my sold and active listings...drop me a line, and I will send you my wholesale price list and order form.

I am available for any project you could throw my way, I am comfortable in many mediums and ALWAYS ready to try something new, I encourage you to let me know if you see something in the shop that you would prefer in a different color or with different subject matter, all inquiries are welcome...
~*~ Custom Creations ~*~
My absolute favorite work is Custom Commissions..I really love the entire proccess, and from my very first response to a custom work inquiry..I am always very clear about the procedure and my way of handling each aspect of the project.
So all fees and time schedules are laid out before you purchase your custom listing. It is for that reason that I generally do not provide refunds on custom pieces, that and the fact that most pieces are made to the specific sizes and preferences to the client, making the piece hard to resale on my part.
However I have & will always work with you in any event of a special situation that may arise.

I typically have a standard custom fee structure that frequently is adjusted to the specific details & needs of each piece.
But my basic straightforward fees are:
~ $45 custom order inquiry fee which covers any sample materials and the extra time & effort on my part to source, photograph & communicate all the possible options for your piece.
~ $ 35 rush order fee which would apply if you ordered a piece that would normally take weeks and need it in 7-14 days, This would require me to put aside several current custom orders, limit my acceptance of other work and pay for the multiple triple espressos need for the all nighters I will be pulling..:)
~ bigger commissions or multiple pieces are always quoted with a thorough explanation of each point Before the acceptance of any job.
~ $45 Custom Embroidery Work, which would include monograms, dating, and any extra basic embellishments to the existing piece, for more elaborate detailed embroidery or applique, the price would be quoted upon the overall design complexity, I love this type of sewing, so I do encourage your questions and commissions..
~ $25-$45 Custom Beading fee, for the embellishment of your project, plus actual cost of beads, which greatly varies on type.
