Welcome

Why sell art on Esty? I love the idea of my paintings finding their way from my little studio to homes all across the world!

It makes painting exciting when I think about where the piece will eventually end up. I love to paint, but I also enjoy knowing that someone might feel a connection to one of my paintings.

I also enjoy making one of a kind paintings. This gives the buyer the advantage of knowing they own a true original.

Payment

Payment is simple, I accept paypal. The great thing about paypal is that you can use any major credit card. You don't even need a paypal account. How easy is that!

Shipping

I ship anywhere in the US for a flat rate of $8.00.

I will combine shipping, $8 for the first piece, $4 for each additional piece.

If you live outside the US please convo me and tell me where you live. I can check out the postage cost with my local postmaster Karen and get right back to you!

Refunds and Exchanges

I will accept refunds as long as you notify me with 3 days of receiving the piece. Return shipping is up to you. I will refund your money minus shipping cost when the artwork shows up back home in it's lovely original condition!

Additional Policies and FAQs

FAQs...

How do you package the paintings?
For larger pieces, I place the painting in a protective plastic sleeve, along with a certificate of authenticity and business card. I carefully roll it up, seal it and place it in a cardboard tube. Paintings are not rolled until the day of shipment. Smaller pieces may be shipped flat.

My painting is not wanting to lay flat. What can I do?
Upon receiving the painting, you should carefully remove the painting and remove the tape. Leave the painting in it's plastic sleeve and unroll. Lay flat and place some books at the top and bottom. If after a day or two, if there is still a curl, you can carefully and loosely roll the opposite way. Secure with a rubber band for about 5 minutes then lay it flat.

Won't this damage the piece?
Watercolor paintings are a lot tougher than most people think. Artist grade watercolor paper is 100% cotton, so think of it as a really stiff towel! Just make sure you don't crease the painting.

What will damage a painting?
Besides the obvious culprits such as water or fire, a painting can also be damaged by oily or dirty fingers, smoke, dog teeth and spaghetti sauce. (The last two I know from experience!) Also make sure the painting doesn't get creased. I recommend storing the painting in the plastic sleeve until you can have it professionally framed.

Why does the color in the painting look different than in the photo?
Computer monitors are as individual as computer users! I check my images on a desktop and two laptops. I try to get the photo to look reasonably close on all three, but it's a challenge.
