I sand all my boxes before I begin painting on them. However, sometimes a few of them remain just a little rough, which I love because it really gives it that handmade feel.
I paint all of these boxes with acrylic paint. Once I am finished painting and decoupaging I will protect the paint with a little bit of varnish.
I also screw on metal plated legs to the bottom of all of my boxes. It's the woodyou signature look i guess you can say.
I really enjoy making all of these boxes. I love using vintage inspired images, and on occassion I will add a modern twist to one of my vintage inspired boxes.
I take my time with each one and put a lot of love into them. I would never make a box I wouldnt give to one of my loved ones, or use in my own home.
These boxes make a special gift on any occassion.

The Dishes are made with decorative paper, and are glass

The Jewelry is made with antiqued metal,swarovski stones, glass beads and chain

Payment

I accept money orders,and paypal payments which accepts all credit cards/debit cards, which also makes for a safe shopping experience online.
I ship orders out once a week on fridays.
For money orders however I ship out on the friday I recieve your money order, not when the order is placed.

Shipping

I send all orders out priority mail.

Refunds and Exchanges

If for any reason you wish to return an item you have purchased, buyer has 7 days from the date received to return the item in good condition for a full credit back to the card used in the initial purchase. Unfortunately we cannot honor any returns that are sent back after the 7 day period. Customer pays any shipping charges. When returning an item, follow all instructions on your packing slip under the "returns" section. To ensure proper credit, please include packing slip in your return shipment. We process returns and issue credits at the begining of each week.

Additional Policies and FAQs

We currently do not offer an exchange for other merchandise. If you wish to exchange an item, you must return it within the 7 day period, and place a new purchase order for the item you wish to buy instead.
