Welcome

Hello and welcome to my shop policy page.
I started to make ceramics for many reasons, but a large one was that I was bored of machine made, mass produced objects. I wanted homewares that were individual and unique.
You will only ever find individual pieces in my shop, and although two items may be similar, no two will ever be identical. This is because each and every one of my items is made by hand, decorated by hand and glazed by hand, by me.

Payment

Please pay by Paypal. This means that you can use any major credit card. Please pay within three working days. Beyond this time, I reserve the right to relist the item and cancel the transaction. If you are experiencing technical difficulties, or there is a problem with making the payment for any reason, please send a convo to me as soon as possible.

Shipping

I usually ship items the next working day following receipt of payment.
I will ship items worldwide using airmail. If you would like additional insurance, please convo me and I will send you a quote.
If you would prefer a different shipping method eg Airsure, please convo me and I will send a quote.
Any customs charges or local taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Worldwide customers - you should usually expect to receive items within six working days.
UK customers you should usually receive items within three working days of order. I send by first class post within the UK.
All customers, please note, items are sent by standard mail services as listed above, and I cannot take responsibility for items lost in the post. If you want extra services, such as signed for delivery, I can provide this at a surcharge.

I try to make packaging as lovely as possible, because a lovely parcel is a pleasure to open! However, I take extremely seriously the fact that most of my items are ceramic, and wrapping is first and foremost to protect the item. I want you to receive your item in one piece, and do my utmost to ensure that it does by wrapping my work well. I am also concerned about environmental issues, so where possible I use recycled packaging.
Any international customs charges are your responsibility!

Refunds and Exchanges

I want you to be happy with your purchase, and hope that you love it! If you don't, please return it to me, undamaged, in the same packaging, within ten days of receipt and I will exchange it for another item of the same value.(Shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.)
The only items I cannot accept as a return are pierced earrings, for obvious sanitary reasons, and special orders that have been made specifically for you.
If the item is damaged or faulty, please let me know immediately and I will happily exchange it as soon as I receive your return.

Additional Policies and FAQs

All items come from a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
Please let me know if the item is to be given as a gift - I can enclose a free of charge gift tag card if you would like.
Gift wrapping can usually be arranged, please convo me if you need this service. There may be a small charge for your requirements.
