Hello and welcome to Soul Man Vintage!

My name is Deborah and I love to shop for great vintage finds in clothing and accessories. Soul Man Vintage is strickly for the guys with some unisex thrown in every now and then and for the gals you can hop on over to Big Yellow Taxi Vintage.

Please know I do my utmost to disclose any and all issues and I rate each item based on the chart below. I do, however, include the chart in each sale for easy reference.

Our Vintage Rating Condition Chart:
MINT: like new - no apparent wear
NEAR MINT: minimal, gentle wear from aging - no notable flaws
EXCELLENT: normal wear from aging - does not affect the wearing
VERY GOOD: worn, minor noted flaws - does not affect the wearing
GOOD worn and flawed - only gentle wearing recommended
CUTTER flawed - for study or as a pattern template

Payment

We accept Paypal and money orders. Paypal is due within 3 days and a money order within 7 days. From the US, we accept USPS (pink version only) money orders.

If you are paying by Paypal, please double check the address where you would like item shipped is the one that shows on Paypal as you check out.

Shipping

We ship worldwide and we insure all our items. We are based in Canada and use Canada Post. We are happy to combine shipping, but it is not necessarily cheaper due to weight and size restrictions. Please contact us and we will work out the most economical shipping method possible for you.

International clients please contact us for a quote.

We mark the full sale price on all customs forms - no exceptions and we appreciate your understanding.

Refunds and Exchanges

If we have made an error in a listing, we will be more than happy to accept a return and issue a refund in full. You must contact us within 24 hours of receipt and return the item within 48 hours for a refund to be considered. We do not accept returns for fit, colour (as colours may vary from monitor to monitor) or because you do not like it. All returns must be sent to our Canadian address and must be received in the exact condition they were sent.

How we MEASURE CLOTHING:
Unless otherwise stated, all measurements are in inches and they are taken on the outside of a garment. Each piece is laid flat before measuring. Bust, waist and hip areas etc. are measured across and then the measurement is doubled. We measure each garment at least twice to ensure accuracy. If your waist is 28" and the garment waist is 28", it will not fit if it is a fitted garment - an allowance of 1" to 2" is always best, especially on heavier items such as coats.

How we MEASURE SHOES:
Unless otherwise stated, the toe to heel measurement is taken with the measuring tape laid flat against the surface of the inside of the shoe and up and over the arch (if any). For the width we take the widest part of the outside bottom of the shoe. If there is overhang from the top of the shoe, we will give you that measurement as well.

We measure everything twice.

UNSURE IF AN ITEM WILL FIT?:
Take something from your wardrobe and measure it in the same fashion and compare your measurements to ours.

CLEANING AND REPAIRS:
Any item that requires cleaning and can be hand or machine washed, we do. We also do small repairs such as re-stitching loose hems and sewing on buttons. Any item that requires dry-cleaning or seam reinforcing, we leave up to the buyer.
