Welcome

I work with a lot of different mediums. In paper, I focus mainly on cards and invitations. I also crochet scarves, Afghans and cross-stitch small ornaments, though only as seasonal items. I also do beadwork.
My shop is called Phat Crafts because I feel that my style has a bit of couture or chic mentality that people often look for in their goods. They want a bit of luxury, but not at the luxury price.
A lot of people pick one or two mediums to be really good at. I am not one of those people. I like to work with different things, anything really that will let me express how I’m feeling at the moment or how I want to be feeling. I’ve worked in paper for a long time, creating cards and little tags. In the past few years, since I got married really, I picked up scrapbooking and other paper crafts like invitations. At the moment I’m working part time at that big craft chain store (you know the one) and now…I’m feeling inspired. I’ve taught myself to crochet and work in clay. I’ve also learned something about making those little sock animals, though I have yet to make one.
I must admit, for the first time in a long while…I feel alive, like this is what I’m meant to do.

Payment

I accept paypal, check and money order. Prompt payment and clear communication are the best ways to ensure smooth transactions. I expect payment by no later than 3 days of the purchase date, or notification of payment sent if you are mailing a personal check or money order. In those cases I should receive the payment within 7 days of the purchase online. If you should need to cancel an order please let me know as soon as possible and definitely before the three days is up. If the address at Paypal and Etsy do not match up, please let me know in convo or when purchasing and where you like items shipped to.

Shipping

SHIPPING: Unless otherwise requested, I ship via USPS Priority, typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All items will ship within five business days of received/cleared payment barring custom work or otherwise noted. If mailing a check or money order, please take that into consideration when judging shipping time.*The shipping charge includes both shipping and handling and tracking to protect both you and me*

Refunds and Exchanges

RETURNS & EXCHANGES: I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If it is not exactly what you imagined I am happy to work with you to make it right! I will accept items for return, repair or exchange (if available) within 14 days after you received your purchase. It must also be in its original condition. However, buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs. Please contact me first to discuss the details of the situation so I can be prepared and give you an appropriate timeframe on repairs, if warrented. Again, shipping charges are not refundable.

Additional Policies and FAQs

OTHER POLICIES: If you see an item that I’ve sold is no longer in the shop, email me. I also offer complimentary gift wrapping upon request. Just contact me after your purchase and let me know it is a gift. A small card will also be included.
