Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Policies!

I've finally had the opportunity to add these guidelines, to help make my shop more complete, and to make your shopping experience a more complete one.

If you do not understand something in this section, please feel free to contact me. Or, if you just miss me, you can contact me also. ;o)

Payment

PAYPAL: I accept most types of payments (i.e. PayPal, RME, Money Order, Check), but I do prefer PayPal because it is quick, easy, and safe for both parties. If you do not have a PayPal account and would like to use a credit card, I can easily send you an invoice that will allow you to pay directly by credit or debit card.

CHECK/MONEY ORDER: If you would prefer to send a check or money order, I do wait to ship your item until I receive either form of payment, but will update the invoice to show when/if I receive the check. This being said, please refer to my note below about time limits on non-PayPal payments.

RME: I can also now receive RME (Revolutionary Money Exchange) payments, so if you prefer to use your RME account, please choose “OTHER” as your form of payment, and I will submit an invoice to you to pay by that account. This is the only way to pay by RME through Etsy, and frankly, it is pretty easy.

DELAYED PAYMENTS: I do ask for you to please pay for your items within 3 days, or contact me if you need more time - I'm very flexible! If I don't hear from you within 3 days, I will have to unfortunately cancel the transaction and repost the item so it can be available for others to purchase.

CANCELLATIONS: As a buyer myself (a shamefully avid one at that), I understand when you've chosen something you didn't mean to order or wanted a different item instead. If this happens, please just convo me and tell me what you really want to do and I'll fix it for you..no problem. :o)

Shipping

DELIVERY: I send all orders within 24-48 hours. But generally, if payment has already been received, and orders are placed before 12:00 pm PST, your order could be sent out either the same day or will be sent by the next business day. Any orders placed on Sundays will of course go out on Monday, and all Custom orders take 24-48 hours to create and mail out to you.

ADDRESS VERIFICATION: If your PayPal and Etsy addresses listed are different, I will always contact you first to ask you to which one you would prefer your package to be sent. This, of course, can delay your order, so it is always a good practice to make sure the two accounts have the up to date address.

DOMESTIC: I will ship USPS First Class for items under 13oz, First Class or Priority for items up to 2lbs (or that fit in a flat-rate box), and UPS for items heavier than 2lbs, or larger than a flat-rate box. Please note that I DO include Delivery Confirmations on Domestic shipments. I DO NOT automatically insure shipments, so if you would like to purchase insurance, please contact me in advance so that I can calculate the cost with insurance for shipping your package, in which I am more than happy to do so.

INTERNATIONAL: All International packages are sent by USPS, and are priced accordingly, using First Class for small or medium sized items, and Priority flat-rate boxes for any larger items. Please note that Delivery Confirmations are not available on International shipments. International shipments are also NOT automatically insured. Please contact me in advance if you'd like to add that onto your shipping costs.

LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS: I generally cannot be responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items should you choose not to insure it. However, please contact me to let me know if you haven’t received your item in a reasonable time period (under 30 days), and/or it arrives damaged, and I can see if I can either replace it or reimburse you. Please understand that this is on a case-by-case basis only, as I pack all items securely and safely, making sure to deliver to the correct and current address, as each item is detailed and takes me a bit to complete.

Refunds and Exchanges

REFUNDS: It is very important that you are happy with your purchase, and I stand behind the quality and construction of my work. If you find that you are not pleased with the quality of your item, please feel free to let me know and I will gladly accept a return within 7 days of your original order date. Upon receipt of the returned item, I can offer a full refund (not including the shipping charges already incurred), or an exchange for a similar or different item with no problem. Regretfully, I cannot accept returns for a change of mind or a change of heart, but exchanges for a similar or different item are completely fine by me.

EXCHANGES: I am always thrilled to answer any questions that you have prior to purchasing, and want to work with you on your order so that you purchase exactly what you want. All jeynreyn items are personally tested with my prototypes before I post them, and are guaranteed for durability. They should last you a long time! If you find your item is defective in any way, I'll be glad to exchange it for you.

Please note: All shipping costs for Refunded and Exchanged items (terms only as described above) will be at NO additional cost to you!! This unfortunately does not apply to lost, stolen, damaged shipments, or shipment rejects/returns due to the fault of the buyer.

PROMISE: I lovingly take time to detail every item, and do my best to quality check each piece before it leaves my shop. However, since I am human, I do miss some things. If you receive a piece that is defective, please contact me within twenty-four hours so that I can arrange to repair or replace it.

Additional Policies and FAQs

CUSTOM ORDERS: I would love to custom make something for you. If you see something in my shop, but need it made in a way that works for you, just purchase one of my Custom Design listings and note your preferences in the Message to Seller Box. Approximately 30% of my orders are custom made items and I'd be happy to customize them for you too.

This does not apply to any minor changes to already designed items or my Free personalized embroidery. Please see my Custom Design listing for more information.

p.s. If you just have a question on a custom order, please feel free to convo me. I won't bite. ;o)

WHOLESALE ORDERS: I cannot offer the kind of wholesale discount a large company could offer you, but I can offer you a discount off any order of 10 or more of the same product (different styles are allowed of course). Please keep this in mind when contacting me for a price quote. I really appreciate your interest in my product! Sorry, but due to my limited amount of time, my minimum order is not negotiable.

CONSIGNMENT ORDERS: I used to do consignment, but unfortunately, due to the length of time it takes for me to design and detail my items, I cannot offer the typical % of consignment discounts, but, as with my wholesale policy, I can offer you a discount off any order of 10 or more of the same product (different styles are allowed of course).

INVENTORY: I try to keep photos (past and present), of all of my craft works on either my Blog or my Flick’r gallery for an easy view of your choices. As long as I have the fabric and materials in stock, I should be able to replicate the item(s) for you. Just ask!

FEEDBACK: I LOVE to hear what you think about my designs and your experience with me, and my shop. The feedback you leave directly affects my little business and me personally as a designer. Both positive and constructive feedback is essential for a budding business, as it gives the seller some invaluable information on both their handmade items and service, and can help the seller make any needed improvements or know what they are doing is right.

A lot of time, effort, and care go into each item I make. I take great care in providing you with the nicest items, kindly making them with the better materials out there, giving great attention to detail, taking the best photos and describing them as best as I can to accurately represent my creations, as well as making customer service an important part of the whole shopping experience. Having such an extensive Customer Service background, and being a consumer as well as a seller, I know that in order to run a business, it is just as important to have good service, as it is a good product.

This being said, if you should find something wrong with your purchased item or the service you receive (which I hope never happens), I’d appreciate it more if you contact me first to confront me with the issue so I can resolve it, rather than leaving any negative feedback on my shop. And, if you have something wonderful to say, of course I always appreciate that too, as it soooo makes my day!!

BUSINESS HOURS: My business hours are considered 7 days a week, but in order to stay a little sane, my business hours are 9am-5pm, and shipping is available on Saturdays as well. Even though I have a little infant now and travel occasionally, I’m pretty good at checking my emails throughout the day or while away, (including those wee hours of the night), so feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions, and you just might hear back from me when you least expect it. ;o)
