Welcome

I am a mostly self-taught fiber artist. My studio is in my smoke-free home. I have an indoor/outdoor cat who only expresses interest in my work when I bring out the catnip to make catnip mice!

Items made from recycled sweaters have been washed in only environmentally friendly detergents and are air dried. Jackets with embellished designs are gently machine washed and air dried before the design is felted on.

Wool roving and mohair curls are used in my needlefelted designs. Where possible I buy from local farmers, and when that is not possible I buy USA grown wool. In all things I attempt to be as gentle to the environment as I can be.

Everything is hand-made by me. I love to listen to music - folk, Baroque, spiritual - while I work. Often my sculptures are made while listening to my husband read to my son and me, while I am at a meeting, or waiting for my son while he is in class or rehearsal! I love to work outside in the sunshine, or sitting in a sunbeam indoors.

Payment

I accept Paypal and money orders. Payment is due 3 days after completing the sale. I will send your item on my next shipping day after your payment clears.
If you live in Connecticut I will charge 6% tax.

Shipping

I ship USPS First Class or USPS Priority, with delivery confirmation, twice a week. I recycle packaging materials as much as possible. I am happy to combine shipping for multiple items; just send me a convo and I will calculate the shipping for you. I am also happy to send gift packages; again, convo me. I recommend you request shipping insurance for higher priced items.

I want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy, let me know and we’ll try to work it out.
