Welcome
Welcome! I love making jewelry and I am serious about customer service, so please send me a message if you have any questions about the information below.
Before ordering, please contact me if you'd like to request a slight modification in the size of a necklace or bracelet to better fit your body, or if you'd like a different type of ear wire (clip-on, for example). I can't guarantee I'll be able to fulfill your request, but often I can - so don't hesitate to ask.
Earrings can be made to match most bracelets and necklaces. Just check with me about availability and pricing, and we can set up a listing if I have the materials available.
Payment
I accept payment through PayPal, including credit and debit cards. This is my preferred method of payment, as it makes my life (and yours) a little easier and helps me get your purchase to you more quickly.
If for some reason you don't wish to pay through PayPal, however, please contact me and we can certainly work something out!
Shipping
Shipping is calculated based on weight. I only charge what it costs to pack and ship. I do not make any money off of shipping.
SHIPPING TIMELINE
Most orders ship within 2-3 business days. In general, domestic shipments usually arrive within the week and international orders usually arrive within 5-10 business days.
SHIPPING METHODS
Within U.S. states and territories, orders are shipped via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail and are insured with delivery confirmation so you can track your package.
I can also ship internationally with USPS Priority or FedEx, but please contact me for price quotes and to set up a listing.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
If you have different addresses listed in Etsy and PayPal, please let me know to which address you would like your package sent. If I do not hear from you within 2 days after your order, I will ship to the PayPal address.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not currently except returns, but I will gladly exchange an item if you are not delighted or it is not what you expected. Items worn or damaged by customer are not eligible for exchange and will be returned to sender. (Items damaged during shipping are covered through postal insurance.)
To request an exchange, please send me a message within 5 business days of receipt of your order. I will ask you to do the following:
- Wrap and ship your item in its original packaging, and
- Include an additional US $5 for return postage of your new item ($6 if I need to replace the packaging).
You are responsible for payment of postage when sending items to me for exchange.
Shipping costs will not be refunded unless the error is mine.
Additional Policies and FAQs
MATERIALS
Materials include hand-selected semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, Japanese and Czech glass, lampwork (handblown glass) beads, as well as wood and other materials from around the world. I use only silver and gold clasps and ear wires to protect the health of your skin. Unless otherwise noted, necklaces and bracelets are strung on supple yet strong nylon-coated steel – this stuff won’t stretch and is virtually indestructible! Even so, you should always take care with your jewelry in order to ensure years of wear.
REPAIRS
I stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of all my jewelry and as such, I've had very few problems over the years. But life happens, so in the rare case that your jewelry needs repair within 12 months of purchase (based on normal usage), I will gladly repair it for you. Please contact me and describe the issue. Some materials charges may apply, but we'll talk about whether this is necessary before you send anything to me. I will charge $5 shipping to return the item to you.
Be mindful that your jewelry is delicate. With heavy usage, even the best and strongest materials can break. Take care of your investment and your jewelry should last for years.
JEWELRY CARE TIPS:
1) To prevent metal from tarnishing due to exposure to air, wrap your jewelry with a soft cloth and place in a sealed container, jewelry box or jewelry pouch when it's not being worn.
2) Non-tarnish strips also help to slow the natural tarnishing process of silver and gold. Check with any jewelry store or look for the 3M brand.
3) It's best to store necklaces and bracelets flat when possible, rather than hanging them. My stringing materials (nylon-coated steel) minimize stretching, but flat storage will extend their life.
4) Take off your jewelry before sleeping, showering or swimming.
