Hi, thanks for looking at our item and supporting the Etsy Community. We are a Mother - Daughter team who's philosophy is to do our part to keep things out of the landfill that could be used to beautify our homes, gardens or be uniquely fashionable. We try to use a variety of things we find to create our one-of-a-kind items. It may be salvaged antique ceiling tin, a broken necklace, a lamp base or vintage horse tack. If we aren't inspired or think someone else could create with it we offer it as a supply such as a damaged mink coat that would make a beautiful teddy bear. Other antique and vintage items are listed as we find them, but beware: we have a warehouse full. Supplies and vintage items are listed on on our other etsy account: http://fleamarketboutique.etsy.com We have been in this business part-time since 1990 and full-time since 2003 when Jennifer was laid off from her "day job". We currently operate our furnishings and home decor boutique in Rochester, Minnesota. We also set up at variety of craft shows, flea and antique markets around Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. We sleep well at night knowing we are doing our part to keep one person "trash" from the landfill and love creating with it to make a "treasure".

Payment

We accept Paypal, Visa, MC, Discover, personal checks and money orders. We would appreciate payment within 3 days. Address must be Paypal verified and match your Etsy address. Please allow 7 to 10 days before shipment for checks and money orders to clear. Credit card phone orders will need additional information for verification due to identity theft. Please contact us for details. Local orders may be paid for at our store. Minnesota sales tax will be charge for Minnesota orders and any orders that are picked up or paid for at our store.

Shipping

We prefer to ship with delivery confirmation via the USPS. Please contact us with your zip code and/or country for a shipping quote. We are not trying to make money on shipping. Rates will reflect shipping to your zip code when invoiced. We can also ship via UPS and FedEx or other carriers if you prefer. Let us know and we will get back to you with a shipping quote for those carriers. We do not ship to post office boxes. We will ship to a "giftee" if requested. International orders are welcome. International buyers must pay any and all custom/import etc. fees associated with the transaction. Insurance may be required on breakable items, but otherwise will be optional but recommended. Damage claims & lost package claims should be handled through the carrier. We will be more then happy to assist you if needed. We will also do combined shipping on multiple purchases. Let us know if you have any special requests or needs regarding shipping. Item may also be picked up at our retail location during business hours or by appointment. We recommend U-ship for large items that are listed for pick-up only. We will more then happy to accommodate the U-shippers pick-up time frame. We ship most items with 48 hours of receiving payment barring any extremes such as a Minnesota blizzard, flood or circumstance beyond our control.

Refunds and Exchanges

We are flexible on returns/exchanges and choose to handle them on a case by case basis if contacted within one week excluding shipping charges. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges as well. Lost or damaged packages are non-refundable. We will provide you with documentation so that a claim may be placed with the carrier.

Additional Policies and FAQs

We use recycled or "usable" packing materials as much as possible. This may include clean, usable clothing. We may even ask you for "size request" if we need to purchase packing materials. If you can't use "packing " please pass it on or donate it.
Wholesale orders will be considered case by case based on multiple/quantity purchase and inventory available. Contact us for wholesale pricing. A valid tax identification number will be required.
Gift wrapping is available for a small additional charge.
Since most of our items are recycled or as found we can't make any claims as to their origins being smoke, pet or allergen free. We also do a lot of our work in a open layout shop which would expose some "hardline" items to the finishing chemicals we use especially in the winter. We do clean everything before it is shipped. We also do most of our work outside in the summer to save electricity. An added note, most of our paints, lacquer etc. comes from our local re-use center so their MSDS/OSHA components will vary. If you need to know the brand we used on an item please contact us.
We must also note that some of our shabby, distressed or re-used items may have had or still do have lead
paint. These items are finished with the utmost care: loose paint removed, washed and thoroughly sealed.
