ProjectWoodworks's Shop Policies
Welcome
Ancient and modern-day techniques are used to create these projects. I do not use laser etchers or other industrial print equipment on any project. I make everything by hand using power and hand tools, and wood-burning equipment.
I take each customer and each project very serious. I invest hours and sometimes days, just in the design process. For artistic work, my clients present me with pictures and an idea of what they would like. Life defining moments are made to last in a truly unique form. Births, anniversary, retirements, saying goodbyes, or welcome backs can all be captured. I work from their ideas and images, then design, create and present their project. Some orders from my clients may include furniture or boxes that need to be an exact size, shape or color to match a décor.
Please note: These projects are not for everyone. Many people approach me with ideas of what they would like me to build them, and then expect to pay big-box-store prices, for big-box-store work. Others request a plaque, not truly understanding that I do much more than hot-glue pre-made logos on to particle board, made to look like real wood. Many people are fine purchasing those types of items, and that’s fine. But some people demand higher quality work for custom-made items. That’s the niche I try to fill.
Top Ten Reasons to Purchase from Project Woodworks:
1. You will own the one-and-only of your Project. No one will have the exact same Project as you.
2. I take your ideas and inspiration and through an interview process, WE design your Project together. There will be no guess work by me and no fear from you.
3. You won't be waiting in line while customers are being rushed in and out of a store. I will be meeting with you, and my full attention will be on you and your Project.
4. Your Project will NOT look like the typical plaque or award that EVERYONE else gets.
5. Your Project will be finished on time, every time. I do not take rush orders, because there is a risk that finishes will not be dry, or design decisions were rushed and/or not understood by the customer. You will know the time required to design, build and finish your Project during your interview, with a clear understanding of what the final Project will look like.
6. Your Project will last for years. If something were to happen to your Project due to material failure, simply contact me.
7. I love what I do. I truly have a passion for creating things. Ever purchased an item or a service from someone who hates their job?
8. Be among the few who step outside the box of awards and artwork. Not many people know pyrography or scroll art. Don't you want something unique?
9. The Rewards Program was designed for those of us who don't have bottomless pockets. I established it after price began to move out of reach for some people with a lot of other commitments. I don't think that only the "wealthy-elites" deserve to own this type of art. Art is to be viewed and seen by all.
10. Finally, woodwork shouldn't suck, Ladies and Gentlemen. Project Woodworks hereby invokes the "No-Suckage-Here" rule. You will love your Project. I pour myself into everything I do, and I know that you and I can design your new and your next Project!
