Items in a model or series may differ slightly from the item pictured and may include some discoloration because they are all handmade. I don't use a mold. I use my two hands and sculpt details with a straight pin.

Each item is made in a non-smoking, pet friendly home, though the pets are banned from my workroom until they agree to remove their fur coats at the door.

Black cords are $5, red are $7, satin are $12-15 and silver chains are sold by weight and style. You may request cords or chains be added, changed, or removed and I will adjust an invoice for you or refund a partial payment accordingly. Silver-plated magnetic clasps are available at no extra charge for recipients who have a hard time manipulating traditional clasps, though they are not recommended for use with a pacemaker. Hooks or longer cords can be special-ordered.

I understand all too well how cheap findings cause contact allergies so all of my cords have sterling silver crimps and clasps by default.

Payment

I accept any type of payment via Paypal, including echecks. My company name is "Singing Moon Press" so the information you get may arrive from someone calling themselves that. Do not be alarmed! It's me!

I expect payment to be initiated within one week. Echecks may take some time to clear but I will ship as soon as they do.

If you purchase something, then I list something new, and you make another purchase I will try to refund your second shipping cost if I notice it before I ship your first order.

Shipping

METHODS: I ship via First Class mail M-F with Delivery Confirmation in a bubble mailer for most items, regardless of destination. You may request Domestic Priority Mail for $6 but in a package this size it barely makes a difference.

Completed jewelry comes in velour gift bags, and Deluxe Animinis (those with gemstones or lots of delicate hand painting) are shipped in tins or faux suede bags. Loose charms and pendants arrive in plastic zip bags unless otherwise requested. Larger items are shipped in fabric gift bags or gift boxes. Glass items are double-boxed.

DELIVERY CONFIRMATION: I use delivery confirmation whenever available and will be happy to share your tracking number if asked.

I will refund or replace items lost in transit before receiving a Delivery Confirmation scan, but I will consider an item delivered if the Post Office provides a valid Delivery Confirmation scan at the final destination. I cannot be responsible for loss if your neighbors are thieves or your teenager throws the package in the back seat and forgets to hand it to you!

NOTIFICATION: I will convo you or send a note from "SINGING MOON PRESS" at Paypal when your domestic package ships. If you tweet @orangecatblues or leave me your twitter name on checkout, I will tweet your shipment instead.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS: Buyer is responsible for all customs fees and disputes. I list items whose main material is polymer clay as "costume jewelry", but your customs officials may disagree. Every item I sell is potentially dutiable. In addition, most of these items contain silver and customs forbids them in some countries or may require them to be shipped registered mail. (Sigh.) International customers with silver restrictions may request custom items made with aluminum or galvanized steel.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Potentially dutiable items need to be presented in person with a customs form. If you place an order by 6AM EST on Wednesday I can ship internationally Thursday or Friday. After that you may have to wait until the next week's trip to the Post Office for shipping, but I most likely will get there earlier. I ship from the regional rather than local post office because it has the best record of timely international delivery.

INTERNATIONAL REGULATIONS: The countries to which I can ship fragile glass items are limited by postal regulations. If the shipping cost is more than half the cost of the item I will not list your country as an option. It would be ridiculously unfair to charge so much.

Refunds and Exchanges

Like almost everywhere else, I will happily refund or replace items grossly different from the description or damaged during shipping, but I cannot refund shipping and handling costs.

(I've never actually had this happen in ten years of online sales, and as you can see, my shipping and handling costs are very low. I only charge for packaging materials and postage.)

I start custom items on Wednesdays and usually list them within a week as "RESERVED FOR:". In general, Hugs and Decoupage necklaces are $15, Lucky Maneki Neko are $20, and costumes are $25 to $30. There is no additional charge for custom sizing on Chat Couture clothing which has "custom size" available, but you may need to add up to a week for a custom size order.

I offer bulk discounts for resale. Custom bulk orders must include fifteen items in the same color and relative style (plain, decoupage, hugs, or Maneki Neko), or you can watch for me to post an assortment.
