Welcome to Cecily Says So!

My name is Danielle (not Cecily, sadly) and I am an artist based in Kent, UK. All my pieces are hand made to my punishingly high personal standards and should last a good long time in a loving home.

Payment

Once your order is placed you must pay within 2 days, after which I will re-list your purchase. Information on custom order payments is below, in additional information.
I only accept payments via paypal, but I'm sure you all know by now that you can pay through paypal without signing up for an account - just follow the instructions and use your credit or debit card like normal.
I aim to post your purchase within 3 working days after payment is received. I will email to confirm when your item has been shipped.
If you wish to cancel your order you must do so within 24 hours of my receipt of payment. After this time, provided the order has not already been shipped, a refund may be made, minus the packaging fee.

Shipping

I will ship purchases to the registered paypal address, unless instructed otherwise.

Purchases sent to UK addresses will be sent via Royal Mail first class recorded delivery post. This means you'll have to sign for the parcel when it arrives! If you would prefer not to use this service let me know before I ship. However, Please note that items going missing in the post not shipped recorded delivery will not be refundable, unless additional insurance is purchased by you.

Items shipped internationally will travel via Royal Mail air mail. This is not signed for or tracked so purchases over $50 will be sent with additional insurance (at no extra cost to you). Items under $50 will not be insured unless you request and pay for it. These items, if lost in the mail and not insured, will not be refundable.

Any additional customs charges arising from your parcel must be paid for by you.

Finally, I would be most grateful if you could confirm receipt of your parcel with feedback.

Refunds and Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, I will exchange your item(s) or refund your money (minus shipping costs) up to 14 days after you have received your order. You will be responsible for returning items with their original packaging and payment of return shipping costs.

I take care in packaging my products but in the unlikely event of an item arriving damaged please notify me immediately and return the package as soon as possible. Once I have received the damaged item and the original packaging I will arrange a replacement or refund (minus the shipping cost). Unfortunately I cannot accept the cost of return shipping.

Additional Policies and FAQs

I happily take custom orders and will require require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins. Once the item is completed, a photograph will be emailed to you for approval. The remaining balance is due upon approval. Items will ship within 3 business days after receipt of final balance.
