I like to live by old fashioned principles such as "Waste Not, Want Not", "A stitch in time saves nine" and "A penny saved is a penny earned".

Making ornaments using eggshells from baking or breakfast gives me a sense of satisfaction I think other people who enjoy making things would understand.

Since 1975 when I first began dabbling with this art form I've saved up eggshells even when I didn't have time to make completed ornaments. My storehouse of shells is now somewhere over 40 dozen.

I know that may not sound like much when thinking on the scale of a huge company with mass produced items, but to me it is a treasure I've been saving up for the time when I retire from my "day" job and can concentrate on doing what I love most - using my imagination to create whimsical, fanciful objects that remind me of the fairy tales that fascinated me from early childhood.

Payment

Payment using PayPal seems like the easiest all around but I will also accept Postal Money Orders and personal checks.

Please note that personal checks require additional processing time to insure your bank clears payment to my bank (typically 10 days after deposit).

Money order payments can be handled the next business day following receipt of your payment.

Shipping

I ship US Priority mail, each egg comes in its own sturdy cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap.

(The egg is wrapped in bubble wrap, not the box .... ;-) )

Refunds and Exchanges

If an egg breaks in shipping I will be happy to remake it for you in another shell providing you ship the broken ornament back to me and pay for the shipping each way.

I wrap as well as I can with the bubble wrap but accidents sometimes happen and unfortunately I cannot be responsible for how people in between handle items in shipping.

I will do the best I can to make sure your ornament is everything you hope it will be.

I'm always happy to make a custom ornament as specified by your description. If I do not have the materials to make what you are looking for I will let you know.

If you want to provide a figurine to put into an ornament I can do that as well.
