Welcome

Crystal City Fibers is a one mom home business in the Crystal City of Corning, NY.

I spin on a Schacht LadyBug wheel, and on a Heavenly Handspinning Fidelis.

All Hand-Dyed Yarns and fibers are dyed with professional Grade Acid Dyes and Heat set for color-fastness.

Please remember that hand spun yarns are by their very nature imperfect. I list the general grist of the yarn in my listings, but there may always be spots that are a little thicker or thinner than others.

Payment

Payment must be made within 48 hours of purchase or items may be re-listed.

Shipping

Shipping is through USPS. Shipping overcharges in excess of $1.00 of actual shipping costs will be refunded to the buyer.

All Domestic US purchases of ready made items will be shipped within 2 business days unless specified in item listing. International packages will be shipped on Saturdays only.

Crystal City Fibers cannot be held responsible for Items lost or damaged while in the hands of the postal service. We Highly recommend Shipping Insurance. If you would like your items to be shipped with insurance, please convo me prior to making your purchase, and I will update the shipping costs to reflect insurance. Again, we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping!

Refunds and Exchanges

We cannot accept returns of Custom Items unless the item is not as described, or if the fit is far off from your submitted measurements (hand-knits).

Additional Policies and FAQs

We are required to collect sales tax from New York State residents. Your tax rate is determined by your shipping address. Please note that the cost of shipping and handling is subject to tax in New York State.

New York residents please wait for an adjusted Invoice prior to paying, which will include your taxes owed. Your payment will be refunded and a new bill sent if you pay without including these taxes.
